Tuesday Tidbits

Time for Tuesday Tidbits. It's my way of recording all the cute and funny things my kids say and do!

Dylan was looking at a frog book with me. I told him that one of the frogs was a male barking tree frog. He replied, "He gives mail to the other frogs?" After I explained to him the
male/female concept, he still kept calling the frog the mailman frog.

Dylan is the sweetest boy ever. He was really stuffed up, so I put Vick's VapoRub on his chest. He told me, "You're the best mommy ever!" I said, "Thanks! I hope you feel better, buddy."He replied, "I really hope you feel better too!"

Lexie fell asleep with the covers over her head. About an hour later, we heard her little voice calling out from her room, "Mommy! I not hiding from you anymore!!!" She woke up, all confused, and thinking that she was playing hide 'n seek!

Up until Thursday, Lexie never said yes. She just responded, with a long huuuuuh. It was so cute and funny. But suddenly, she began saying yes, and hasn't said huuuuh since. I kind of miss it.

Dylan told me that our Great Dane, Bailey, is like part of a horse and part of a dog.

While looking through a reptile book, Dylan informed me that the Desert Horned Lizard was an African spitting-blood-out-of-it's-eyes lizard. Indeed, it does do just that.

Lexie has been completely day trained for over a month. I still put pull ups on her at night, just in case, because she doesn't stay consistently dry overnight. Tonight, I found a lone diaper in the stack of pull ups, and put it on her. She hasn't worn a diaper in months, so she was really angry to be wearing it.

I had to snap a pic of Lexie wearing her last diaper ever.

I admit, I am going to miss that dipey-butt!

  3. So cute! I know what you mean about missing the li'l things they substitute for words etc. For me, it's the sound Bucket made when we'd give him his paci. "Mm mmmm mmm" so cute. :(
