FRIDAY Dylan attended his girlfriend's birthday party at a pottery place while Grant, the girls, and I went out to dinner. Dylan made Hazel (who happens to be older than him) a card, put one of his dollar bills in it, and chose her present on his own (a purse and a bunch of lip balms). He had a great time!

After the party, we went straight to my best friend's house, and spent the evening there. We left around midnight, and all three kids passed out in the car!
SATURDAYWe went to Grant's cousin's daughter's birthday party. The party was held at a beautiful park nearby. It was so nice to see his family!

Lily met her great grandma for the first time!

The kids had a great time!

So did we!

Before we left, we took a walk down to the pond, and fed the ducks!

After we got home, our close friends came over for the evening. It was another late night for us!
SUNDAYWe spent a relaxing morning/early afternoon at home.

Then it was time to go to my Aunt Ruth's cottage for a little family reunion! My family from Texas was in town, and it's always wonderful to see them!
My dad and Uncle Mickey were reunited with their brother.

The kids love my cousin MichaelAnne. They really wish she lived closer!

Lily snuggled with my wonderful Aunt Susie. I, too, wish they lived closer!

It was such a nice day! The kids had so much fun with their cousins. They played in the creek, and ate lots of junk. We all went through my Grandma's amazing salt and pepper shaker collection, and went home with some true treasures! I really enjoyed meeting MichaelAnne's husband, and searching for our initials on a tree with her. I grew up down there, and it was so nice to return, and relive my childhood!

It was so nice to spend the day with my wonderful family! I am blessed!

I can't wait for my aunt, uncle, cousin, and her husband to return. It's always so hard to say goodbye!

I came home with filthy, tired kids to a home filled with Steelers fans watching the game! This weekend was busy, but it's one of the best we've had in a long time!
