I think...
...my first baby girl is going to cause us a lot of trouble during her teenage years!
...my baby is going to end up with blue eyes.
...my dog is amazing with kids.
...Lexie has grown so much since becoming a big sister. Physically and emotionally!
...my girls are going to be the best of friends.
...my world revolves around making her smile.
...Lexie's long days are exhausting.
...I'm having too much fun playing with my camera and lighting.
...little girls are too grown up these days. Dylan brought home more love letters today, and now has a 6th girl who has a crush on him!
...I love having a little girl that likes to dress up.
...my little man is looking so grown up.
...I love having another girl. It's great to reuse Lexie's baby clothes!
...my baby girl is fighting off a bug.
...the binky is a lifesaver.
...my little boy is the sweetest boy ever.
...I'm in shock over the fact that I have an 8 week old.
I think...
...I'm incredibly blessed.

Heartbreaker
He may be cute...
...but everybody loves him because he's so sweet, kind, polite, and loving!
That makes him a target. Apparently ALL the girls love him. It came as a surprise to me, but 6 and 7 year old girls can be a wee bit obsessive.
It started with a discovery in Dylan's backpack yesterday.
The situation escalated today. He received notes and pictures from FOUR girls!
Whoa.
Back off, little girls. He's all mine for now!
Pssst...Dylan, just stick with your first love. You don't need any other girl but Hazel!

The Mondays
Nobody is a fan of Mondays, but we make the most of it!
Lexie and my best friend's son attend pre-k together, and we decided to sign them up for story time at the local library as well.
So every Monday we pick the kids up from preschool, and meet at the park down the street for 45 minutes. The kids have lunch and get to play for a bit before we head over to the library.
Yesterday, we enjoyed one last summer day before the true Fall weather hits!
I love those handsome boys so much!!!
I have a feeling we'll continue our Monday playdates after the story time program ends!

Best. Weekend. Ever.
FRIDAY
Dylan attended his girlfriend's birthday party at a pottery place while Grant, the girls, and I went out to dinner. Dylan made Hazel (who happens to be older than him) a card, put one of his dollar bills in it, and chose her present on his own (a purse and a bunch of lip balms). He had a great time!
After the party, we went straight to my best friend's house, and spent the evening there. We left around midnight, and all three kids passed out in the car!
SATURDAY
We went to Grant's cousin's daughter's birthday party. The party was held at a beautiful park nearby. It was so nice to see his family!
Lily met her great grandma for the first time!
The kids had a great time!
So did we!
Before we left, we took a walk down to the pond, and fed the ducks!
After we got home, our close friends came over for the evening. It was another late night for us!
SUNDAY
We spent a relaxing morning/early afternoon at home.
Then it was time to go to my Aunt Ruth's cottage for a little family reunion! My family from Texas was in town, and it's always wonderful to see them!
My dad and Uncle Mickey were reunited with their brother.
The kids love my cousin MichaelAnne. They really wish she lived closer!
Lily snuggled with my wonderful Aunt Susie. I, too, wish they lived closer!
It was such a nice day! The kids had so much fun with their cousins. They played in the creek, and ate lots of junk. We all went through my Grandma's amazing salt and pepper shaker collection, and went home with some true treasures! I really enjoyed meeting MichaelAnne's husband, and searching for our initials on a tree with her. I grew up down there, and it was so nice to return, and relive my childhood!
It was so nice to spend the day with my wonderful family! I am blessed!
I can't wait for my aunt, uncle, cousin, and her husband to return. It's always so hard to say goodbye!
I came home with filthy, tired kids to a home filled with Steelers fans watching the game! This weekend was busy, but it's one of the best we've had in a long time!
