Not Me Monday

I can't believe it's already the Monday before Christmas! Time for me to make some confessions. Head on over to MckMama's blog for more Not Me Monday fun!

I did not have some major difficulty leaving the house on Tuesday morning. It did not involve me running into the house two different times, and getting mud all over my pants. Getting out the door is always easy for me!

I was not in the shower when my sister brought Dylan home on Thursday. Since I was not taking a shower at that time, I did not have to throw my pj's on over my soaking wet body, and answer the door with shampoo suds in my hair.

I did not have to perform Polly Pocket Surgery this week. Polly is not the proud owner of a duct tape mini-skirt.

I did not have to yell at my mother for letting Lexie lick the butter off of every roll in the basket. I was not appalled when my parents still ate the already-been-licked rolls. Nana does NOT completely spoil Lexie and let her do as she pleases.

When I was turning off all the Christmas lights before bed last night, I did not have a hard time finding out which outlet my husband had plugged the snowman light on our window into. Of course, the outlet was not directly under the window. I had not been plugging it in to an outlet further away, because I didn't realize the other outlet was there.

And, finally, I most certainly did not take a bite of my french toast sticks this morning, only to find out that they were still frozen. Of course, I remembered to cook them first.

  2. So does Lexie love butter? Does she ever try to just "eat it"? My friend used to eat butter all the time. I like butter, but not that much.

LOL at the french toast sticks. That's too funny!!

  3. oh the joys of being a mom! All the things we really don't do are just so funny! The little girl I nanny could just eat butter plain as well and I think it is nasty!

I hate when the grandparents let Coop eat everything! Then he just wants it from me. Oh well.
