What's In The Box?

Just for the record, Lexie did sleep last night. She fell asleep at 6 pm, and woke up at 8:45 this morning! She slept almost 15 hours!!! That's my girl!

Lexie takes a purse or bag with her every time we leave the house. It's genetic. I did the same thing as a child!

Yesterday, Lexie took along her usual fuzzy, purple purse that holds her loveys, but she also insisted on taking a little box with her.

I didn't question it, and didn't look to see what was in the box, because we were rushing around. She took it to Dylan's playdate, and to my sister's house. She fell asleep in the car on the way home, so I carried the box upstairs. I decided to peek in the box to see what she had in there.

Let's take a closer look.

Okay, so I GET the Polly Pockets. I can even understand the blue skirt, because Polly may need to change. I guess the Polly Pocket-sized french fries are acceptable, too. But what is with the croissant? And the strawberry? And the french fry?!? I wish I knew what was going on in her little mind!

She's not the only one losing her mind. It's obvious that my self-inflicted sleep deprivation is getting to me.

I actually took a picture of my beloved fuzzy wuzzy pajamas. Because there was a piece of lint on it that looked just like a rooster.

It does, right? Or am I just sleep deprived from blogging into the wee hours of the morning?

  1. Thanks for the sweet comment about my daughter on my blog! Your right, it does look like a rooster, lol! And my daughter's do the same thing w/ their purses; they pack their little dolls and very random things, however, when I ask they always have a great and entertaining explanations! :)

  4. I do often wonder what goes through their heads. Imagine if we had the same goods in our purses :) Maybe She just wanted to be prepared in case she needed a snack :)

  6. The randomness of purse contents... it really never does go totally away, just changes over time. =0)

Now for the rooster lint? If I could reach you, Steph, I'd put my hand on your forehead to make sure you're feeling okay!!! Not running a fever are you? I laughed out loud when I actually could kinda see the "rooster" though. You go girl. Be weird - it's what keeps us fun and young!!!
