A little bit of sugar and a whole lotta flour

I am always trying to figure out something fun to do with the kids. One of their favorite things to do is "bake". I sit them down at the table with bowls, measuring spoons, and funnels. I put a few spoons of flour and sugar in their bowls, and give them some sprinkles and chocolate milk mix for some color.

It's a bit messy, but it really keeps them occupied for a long time. It keeps them happy and quiet for up to an hour! To me, that's worth it!

BunBun is involved in everything Lexie does. Including "baking". Anybody want a sniff of BunBun? ;)

Luckily, my OCD daughter (Ha! Wonder where she got that from?) loves to wipe up messes and my son loves to use the dust buster and swiffer, so clean up is not too bad!
