How far along: 21 Weeks
Due Date: September 6, 2013
Total Weight Gained: None.
How big is baby? Our sweet pea weighs around 3/4 of a pound and is about 10 1/2 inches long. I'm sure this baby is bigger, considering I grow giants!
How baby is growing: The baby's eyebrows and lids are present now. {from babycenter.com}
Maternity Clothes: I'm still wearing my regular clothes.
Stretch Marks: None! I've never had one before, so I'm hoping that trend continues!
Sleep: I sleep about as well as I usually do. I take one pee break a night. I get very tired in the afternoon, but I don't have time for naps.
Best Pregnancy Moment of the Week: Hearing the baby's heartbeat at my OB appointment this morning! Baby is doing great!
Movement: The baby is moving around a lot! It can be felt from the outside, as well!
Food Cravings: None.
Food Aversions: Everything. The only foods I can tolerate are fruit, vegetables, and cereal. A commercial for the Taco Bell Cool Ranch Taco actually made me want to throw up this week!
Morning Sickness: I still have hyperemesis,
and take medication for it. It should start to ease a bit now, but
considering I'm sick 24/7, I'm probably going to have it until the
day I deliver, like I did with my previous 3 pregnancies!
Gender: It's a surprise! We didn't find out with Dylan, Lexie, and Lily either!
Names: The girl name is chosen, but we still have a huge list of boy names and nothing sounds perfect!
Symptoms: Horrible
morning (ALL DAY) sickness, Braxton Hicks contractions (irritable uterus), Anemia, exhaustion, headaches/migraines, peeing more frequently, severe constipation, restless legs, and irritability. The headaches/constipation is a side effect from the Zofran and Iron supplement, but I have to take it.
Exercise:
I alternated between walking and running on the treadmill Monday-Friday this week. I attempted to do a 5K on Tuesday, but had strong Braxton Hick's contractions for several hours following, so I'm not doing that again!
What I miss: Feeling normal. I can't remember what it's like to not feel sick!
What I'm looking forward to: Watching my baby bump grow!
21 Week Picture:
No cravings!?! Mine have been mainly celery lately, so weird. You look so great, shiny hair too.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love these updates! XO
ReplyDeleteYou look AMAZING for being just past the halfway mark!
ReplyDeleteI feel so badly for you about the hyperemesis :(
Hang in their pretty Mama ;)
You look great! So exciting you are past the 1/2 way mark!
ReplyDeleteYou Look great!!
ReplyDeleteBoys names are so hard! I am so thankful I already had one in my back pocket this time around, but with both C and B, they were totally last minute decisions whereas we had a girl's name the whole time.
ReplyDeleteSeptemeber 6th was my due date with Griffin!!! You look great!
ReplyDeleteI remember that miserable side effect from zofran. If you can tolerate kiwi, it's a natural laxative and I did think it helped to eat them.
ReplyDeleteYou look great! Hope things are going well.
