In Love

I bought myself a little something today.

Okay, so it's a big something.

I'm absolutely, 100 %, head over heels in love with this camera! I've been lusting after it for over a year. I bought it this morning, and had such a busy day, that I couldn't even open the box until after the kids were in bed.

The moment I took my first picture with it, I was smitten. I couldn't get my computer to read the memory card, though, so the new pictures will have to wait until tomorrow.

Nikon D90, I HEART YOU! And we've only just met!

I do feel as if I'm cheating on my first Nikon. It's going to gather a bit of dust, but will remain my trusty backup.

I started shopping for Lexie's spring/summer wardrobe today. That was a fiasco! She kept picking up items, even if they weren't in her size, and handing them to me. She was having so much fun! After a bit of arguing, we narrowed it down to 3 items, and plan on trying this another time.

I'm going to let her loose with her birthday money. She loves shopping for clothes and shoes. I felt a bit guilty, because she was picking items that I would never think of buying her, but she obviously liked them!

--------------------

It's official! Dylan is signed up for T-Ball! Practices start in April. He insisted on wearing his baseball outfit to sign-ups. This consisted on baseball underwear, baseball socks, a baseball shirt, and a baseball hat. We had to talk him out of his glove, bat, and helmet. I'm thinking he's excited!

--------------------

Our cat, Cosette, is really sick right now. I think we may have to make some difficult decisions soon.

To be honest, I don't even want to think about it right now.

--------------------

I have a lot to do over the next few days to prepare for Lexie's party. These parties always sneak up on me, and I end up rushing around to get things done.

Luckily, Dylan's book order came in today, so the kids will stay busy.

----------------------

My camera manual is calling my name, so I'm off to figure out all these features!

I love my new baby!
