We're Going To Miss This!

When we signed Dylan up for T-Ball, I was excited for him. I never expected that we all would love it so much! He loves playing, and we love watching!

Tonight, he had his last T-Ball game. Technically, the season was over last week, but he had a makeup game today. I think we are all a bit sad that the season is over. Dylan was on a fun team (Grant loved the fact that he was a Tiger), and had a great coach!

I'm going to miss playing at the park with Lexie, while Dylan practices.

I'm going to miss the funny faces and smiles Dylan randomly flashes me while he's playing.

I'm going to miss watching Lexie cheer on her brother.

I'm going to miss the proud look on Dylan's face after he slams the ball.

I'm going to miss watching him run "super-duper fast."

I'm going to miss the end of the game huddles.

It was bittersweet watching the last pep talk and huddle. I am so happy that Dylan had a great first season. When asked if he was going to play again next year, he answered with a very excited, "YES!"

We left behind the T-Ball field, and celebrated Dylan's last game with some ice cream cones at Dairy Queen.

Lexie gave it a thumbs up.

Dylan declared, "This is the best day ever!"

Goodbye, T-Ball! See you again in 9 months!

Happy 25th Birthday to my nephew, Kelvin! I love you, Kel, and I'm so proud of you!

He almost didn't make it to his 17th Birthday, and every year on this day, I thank God that he's still here with us.

  3. I'm so excited for the day that MK can play some sort of sports. My brothers and I were always involved in t-ball or softball or soccer, just whatever. It was always so much fun! The pics are terrific and really show how happy your babies are. Precious!

  5. You can tell Dylan is having a blast at his T-ball games. I bet he will be asking everyday when he can start back up. Alaina has that purple dress too! Kohl's have been having some great sales lately. I ended up getting 14 dresses between the girls lol! Lexi must be used to playing in those dresses. Alaina always gets stuck on the slides lol!
