15 Weeks With Baby #4

How far along: 15 Weeks!

Total Weight Gained: None.  Still in the losing process.

How big is baby?  Baby #4 is about the size of an apple.  He/She is 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs about 2.5 ounces.

How baby is growing: He/She is busy moving amniotic fluid through the nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in his/her lungs begin to develop. The legs are growing longer than the arms now, and he/she can move all of his/her joints and limbs. Although the eyelids are still fused shut, he/she can sense light. He/She is forming taste buds. Maternity Clothes: None. My regular clothes are loose.

Sleep: I'm sleeping fairly well at night, but I do wake up with bad headaches a few mornings a week.  Sometimes, I still feel like I need a daily nap to make it through the day.

Best Pregnancy Moment of the Week: Feeling the baby move. 

Movement: I can feel little flutters when I lay down or sit quietly.

Food Cravings: None. I had luck keeping down red grapes and organic strawberry fruit leather this week.

Food Aversions: Everything.

Morning Sickness: I still have hyperemesis, and there is no sign of it easing any time soon!

Gender: We're not finding out! We didn't find out with Dylan, Lexie, and Lily either!

Symptoms: Horrible morning (ALL DAY) sickness, exhaustion (although that is starting to ease), headaches/migraines, bloating,  and irritability.

Exercise: I started on the treadmill on Monday, after taking a 10 week break from all exercise.  I did a light walk/run combo for 20 minutes a day Monday-Friday. 
 
What I miss: Being nausea-free.  For sure!

What I'm looking forward to: My OB appointment on the 27th, hearing the heartbeat again, and scheduling our ultrasound!
