I met up with my mom group for brunch at a local diner. Brunch ended up turning into a 3 hour event! Once home, I got hit with a nasty cold. All of the sudden, I felt horrible. It was my mom's birthday, but I didn't want to risk getting my parents sick, so I wished her a happy birthday over the phone. The girls and I stayed home that night, while Grant and Dylan went to a friend's house for the Steelers game.
SEPTEMBER 17th
The start of another school week. Other than driving to pick Lexie up from school, we spent the day at home, getting stuff done!
SEPTEMBER 18th
After picking Lexie up from school, we came home for lunch. We went to story time at the library, where I got a chance to catch up with my best friend. After storytime, we ran a bunch of errands in the pouring rain. Got Dylan off the bus, then got caught up in the after school homework/dinner/bathtime rush!
SEPTEMBER 19th
We had a typical morning at home after the big kids went to school. Lots of cleaning and lots of time spent with my baby girl! I picked Lexie up from school and spent the afternoon with just her. We went to my best friend's house for lunch and a playdate. It was hard leaving, but we had to for gymnastics! It was nice being able to watch Lexie without distraction (AKA Lily). She is really good on the beam and bars! We spent the rest of the evening at home.
SEPTEMBER 20th
Nothing too exciting happened during the day. That evening, I went a friend's house for dinner with my blogger/twitter moms group. We were supposed to craft, but ended up talking for hours instead! I swear, we need an entire day set aside for our meetups!
SEPTEMBER 21st
After picking Lexie up from school, we went to visit my parents. Two of my sisters stopped by while we were there, so I got to spend time with them as well, while my kids played with their cousins.
SEPTEMBER 22nd
We had a lazy day. I woke up with a huge migraine, so we stayed home. That night, our friend's kids came over for a sleepover. We all stayed up TOO late!
These weeks are just flying by!!!
I love Lily's hair in a pony tail!
ReplyDeleteI know you probably don't want to hear this, but Lily is looking so much less like a baby and more like a toddler with every picture you post.
ReplyDeleteI hope you start feeling better soon. A cold and a migraine? No fun!
Ugh, hate migraines! sounds like you had a good week, aside from that!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!! =)
ReplyDeleteSorry you are feeling bad! And omg. I love Lily's leg warmers. Your kiddos are so cute and you do such a great job at pictures!
ReplyDeleteLila wants to start gymnastics so bad, I tell her soon. Cute pics as always.
ReplyDeleteI love how you do your week reviews. Loads of beautiful pictures of your beautiful children!!! Glad you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better now! On Dyl's photo holding an xbox/ps2 controller (?), he looks so grown up on that photo. Your kids are really so adorable.
