Celebrating 50

On September 8th, my family gathered to celebrate my brother-in-law's 50th Birthday!  I honestly can't remember life without Kevin in it.  There's a reason for that.  He and my sister started dating when I was 1!!!



Parties in my family are always full of fun, with many kids running around!  That's how it should be, and that's why I want a big family.




Lily tested out the new car that my nephew is rebuilding.




The boys played a spontaneous game of bobbing for apples, even though it was our first chilly night!





The girl cousins bonded.  They are always surrounded by boys!



Once it grew dark, we sat around a fire, talking and laughing.






We sat around the fire until late that night.   Our township was having their community days celebration, which involved a 35 minute fireworks display.  I was bummed that we were missing it, but we could see them perfectly in the distance! 



It was the perfect ending to a 50th Birthday celebration!
