WEEK 28
{JULY 8th}
We were still on vacation, at the beach!
{JULY 9th}
We were so sad to leave the beach, but we did stop in Washington DC on the way home!
{JULY 10th}
I took my polka-dotted baby to the pediatrician. She did, indeed, have Roseola. That afternoon, Grant's mom stopped by for a visit, and to see our pictures. I unpacked, the baby fell asleep in her high chair, and the big kids had a sleepover. Life was back to normal!
{JULY 11th}
The kids and I ran a ton of errands! On our shopping trip, we bought their school backpacks, and two new pets. Hermit crabs named Rose and Nick.
{JULY 12th}
I babysat all day. As soon as he left, we got ready to have dinner with friends and go swimming!
{JULY 13th}
We started off our day with story time at the library, followed by a playdate at the park, then a visit with my parents.
{JULY 14th}
I was supposed to have a relaxing day at home, but I ended up helping my parents with something. That evening, we had dinner with our friends, and stayed late playing trivia games. Audrey ended up coming to our house for a sleepover, while Dylan stayed later to play with his friend, Jack.
WEEK 29
{JULY 15th}
We stayed home all morning and afternoon. That evening, my friends and I had moms night out! We had dinner at Chili's, and even though there was only 4 of us, we had so much fun! The guys stayed home with the kids while we went out. Dylan ended up going home with our friends for a sleepover that night.
{JULY 16th}
I had an early morning wake-up call to pick Dylan up. That afternoon, Grant's mom came over to visit the two older kids while I went grocery shopping with Lily. While there, she called to let me know that my parents had picked them up to spend the night! It was just Lily and I for the rest of the night!
{JULY 17th}
The big kids spent the entire day with my parents. They had a picnic and went swimming at my parent's best friends' house. Lily was an "only" child for well over 24 hours. I have to say, having just one child is EASY! It was nice to spend time with her! That evening, our friends came over and we made pizzas. The kids came home, and played with their kids for a few hours. It was a nice evening!
{JULY 18th}
That morning, Lily had her hematology/oncology appointment at Children's Hospital. It was information overload, but I was beyond relieved to hear that it wasn't cancer. I had been worrying about that possibility for the past 2 weeks! That evening, my sweet friend, Amber, brought us dinner. The kids and I spent a lot of time playing outside! The big kids were so excited to catch a baby toad!
{JULY 19th}
I babysat all day, and then we went to our friends' house for dinner and trivial pursuit!
{JULY 20th}
Our day started off with Lexie's last session of Storytime at the library. We spent the afternoon visiting my parents, and my mom and I did some (okay, a lot of) shopping! We had dinner with my parents and then headed home.
{JULY 21st}
And, finally...a day spent at home!!!!!!
Busy and fun and beautiful as always! So grateful Lily is ok! Yay for moms night out! :-)
