Father's Day

We had a great time celebrating the dads in our lives today! Happy Father's Day to Grant, my dad, and my father-in-law!

As soon as Grant woke up, the kids ran in to greet him with "Happy Father's Day!" They were so excited to give him the shirt that they picked out for him! We had a big brunch, and then spent a lazy afternoon at home.

Dylan decided to "dress up" because it was Father's Day. That kid will find any excuse to wear a tie!

Lexie is not able to handle being under-dressed, and insisted on one of her (too small) Easter dresses.

Before dinner, we stopped to visit my dad. The kids adore their Papa. As do I!

We ended our day by having dinner with Grant's family at Nannie's house. The food was delicious!

  6. Dylan in his tie is too cute! Lexie reminds me of my daughter who, also, doesn't recognize the concept of "too small". All the dads look so happy, as they should! Belated happy Father's Day to all.

  11. Sweet! Katiebug used to wear dresses all the time - that I sewed for her. Then junior high and high school came along, and all she wore was jeans, t-shirts and flip flops, with her hair in a ponytail. Broke this momma's heart I tell you. LOL!

  12. I just love the "surf" short sleeve shirt with the loose tie! He could start a new trend.

And my daughter also insists on wearing her too small holiday dresses.
