What's Up Wednesday? ~ June Edition

What's Up Wednesday?

It's the last Wednesday of the month which means it's time for What's Up Wednesday! Is it just me, or did June fly by ridiculously fast?!? I can't believe the month is almost over, and July is arriving next week!

On the last Wednesday of each month, I share a life lately post. It's a great way to share what my family is up to! Not just the daily recap, but the things we're eating, watching, listening to, reading, wearing, and more...

WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK...

Weekly Meal Plan Ideas

We tried/are trying some new recipes this month! I get most of my inspiration from my What's For Dinner Pinterest Board, but I almost always adapt the recipe to suit our needs (including Liam's gluten free diet).

We tried Baked Tacos a few weeks ago, and loved them so much that they were added to this week's meal plan, too! I make Liam a GF version by using gluten free taco seasoning and gluten free taco shells. I always make him extra taco meat, so I can save it for meals throughout the week.

The Sheet Pan Parmesan Garlic Chicken & Veggies was a new recipe we tried, and we all loved it! (I made Liam's chicken and veggies on a separate pan, and just used parmesan cheese to season his chicken.

We haven't tried Creamy Parmesan One Pot Chicken & Rice yet, but we can't wait to try it!

WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT...

Childhood. I have a lot on my shoulders right now, and I can't help but miss the carefree innocence of childhood! Sometimes being an adult is overrated!

"Somedays I wish I could go back in life. Not to change anything, but to feel a few things twice."

WHAT I'M LOVING...

I shared my favorites last week, but this one is worth mentioning again! The CHI Tea Tree Oil Conditioner is SO good! It makes my hair feel super soft, while giving it a lot of volume.

WHAT I'M WORKING ON...

~I just finished a post for Pittsburgh Mom's Blog that is scheduled to go live this morning, so two posts in one night. WHO AM I?!?

~I'm working on a few upcoming blog posts and slowly making changes to my website and social media accounts.

~I'm in the process of taking pictures for a few sponsored posts.

HOME:

~Sorting through clothes in the attic for Fall.

  4. I hope the rest of summer doesn't go by too quick for you! And I'm hoping it won't rain on July 4th. I don't know what I'm doing, but I know a lot of people have grill outs, etc. so rain would be a real downer. Plus, it's already been raining a bit this week so I'm ready for nicer weather! :)

  5. Good luck with the decluttering. You will thank yourself when it's done! And I have a blog task list as well and I totally need to laminate mine... then I could check each thing off each day in dry erase! So smart!
