Happenings in July

Sometimes (usually) a month ends before I have a chance to post about all our adventures!

July was a busy month, and our first REAL month of summer.  It was hot and sunny and it rarely rained! I blogged about most of the big events, but here are a few highlights that didn't make it to the blog before the month ended: 

We celebrated Tyler and Braden's birthday!  First up was a party at an art studio for the kids.  The big kids loved it, and Liam was just there for the cake! We ended up going back to their house for the family party and didn't leave until after dark.  The kids loved playing with their friends who we don't see nearly enough!

 

We went swimming once or twice a week!  I perfected my solo trips to the pool with 5 kids!

Liam had a photoshoot for the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh's 2016 calendar.

We spent our days outside.

There was a TON of laundry.

 

Aubrey (my niece) was with us almost every weekday, which made the girls VERY happy! (Really, it did.  I'm just not allowed to interfere when they play!)

Liam decided to climb on EVERYTHING.

We ended the month with a much anticipated visit with my Aunt Susie, Uncle Milt, and cousin Michael Anne.  They live in Texas, and it has been 2 years since we last saw them.  My kids were thrilled to see them again, and Liam got to meet his Texas relatives!  It was so wonderful to spend hours with them before the upcoming family reunion! 

July was a really good month!  We spent lots of time with family and friends, and had a lot of fun!
