How far along: 22 Weeks
Due Date: September 6, 2013
Total Weight Gained: None
How big is baby? Our
sweet pea is about 11 inches long and 1 lb!
How baby is growing: Baby #4 is starting to look like a miniature newborn. The lips, eyelids, and
eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and tiny tooth
buds are even developing beneath the gums. The eyes have formed, but his irises (the
colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. {from babycenter.com}
Maternity Clothes: I'm still wearing my regular clothes.
Stretch Marks: None! I've never had one before, so I'm hoping that trend continues!
Sleep: I've been waking up regularly around 6 AM to use the bathroom, and that's usually when the baby starts kicking.
Best Pregnancy Moment of the Week: Feeling the kicks from the outside. The kids are so excited!
Movement: The baby is moving around a lot! He/She is strong and active!
Food Cravings: None.
Food Aversions:
Everything. Nothing sounds appealing right now. The only foods I can tolerate are fruit, vegetables, and
cereal. Sweets are a must, too.
Morning Sickness: I still have hyperemesis,
and I'm still taking all my medication.
Gender: It's a surprise! We didn't find out with Dylan, Lexie, and Lily either!
Names: The girl name is chosen, but we still have a huge list of boy names and nothing sounds perfect!
Symptoms: Horrible
morning (ALL DAY) sickness, Braxton Hicks contractions (irritable uterus), Anemia, exhaustion, headaches/migraines, peeing more frequently, severe constipation, restless legs, itchiness, and irritability. The headaches/constipation is a side effect from the Zofran and Iron supplement, but I have to take it.
Exercise: 1 mile run on the treadmill on Monday, 2.5 miles at the trail on Tuesday, 1 mile run on the treadmill on Wednesday, 4 miles at the trail on Thursday, and 4 miles at the trail on Friday.
What I miss: Feeling normal. I can't remember what it's like to not feel sick!
What I'm looking forward to: Watching my baby bump grow and being able to see the baby move from the outside!
22 Week Picture:
You look great! So sorry you are still feeling bad! That's so miserable!
ReplyDeleteyou look great. hope you start feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI am always amazed by Mom's that run while pregnant! I started running after I had my first two, but we are 'thinking' about having another one and I really don't want to stop running. Sorry for the morning sickness :(
ReplyDeleteTotally jealous about the no stretch mark part. How is that even possible (or fair for that matter!)! :) You look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWe can see the bump now :) Still looking great sissy!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late visit!
hugs,
marice
you look amazing!!! Sorry the all day sickness is still so bad - I'm amazed at what you accomplish despite that!
ReplyDeleteI know you feel horrible but if it's any consolation you look fantastic. I never got stretch marks either, I think it's hereditary, so fingers crossed you last one more time :)
ReplyDeleteSo fun to not know the gender, can't wait for this baby to come.
You're looking good even if you don't feel good. I can't believe you're 22 weeks already.
ReplyDeleteFor boy names, might I suggest Jack, Nick or Luke? LOL A couple other names I wasn't allowed to use: Andrew, Adam, and Josh.
Funny story, Andrew was my favorite name during my first pregnancy. Jdaddy was totally against it, so I moved on. He still didn't like it when I was pregnant with Nick, but we gave him the middle name of Drew, which is Jdaddy's middle name too. So then we get pregnant with boy #3 and what does Jdaddy suggest as a name? Uh huh. Andrew. Umm, hello???
YOu always make pregnancy look good! I always feel so bad for you though, being so sick. I'm glad you are so positive!
ReplyDeleteGirl it really is amazing that you seem so positive and happy and are doing so much with how horrible your pregnancies are! More than halfway now! yea!!
ReplyDeleteFeeling sick, but looking better than ever!!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! I just read an article that bananas are good for all that stuff - I hope you can tolerate some bananas!
