Family Projects

Every month, the kindergartners have to make a project with their family.

The project for November is to disguise a turkey so it doesn't get caught for Thanksgiving dinner!

We spent a few days thinking about it, and came up with our idea. Today, I helped Dylan disguise Tom Turkey.

Dylan was born in November, and his birthday falls on or around Thanksgiving, so we disguised Tom Turkey as a guest at Dylan's birthday party! Mr. Turkey, aka Flier, even has a party hat, birthday present for Dylan, Star Wars shirt, and balloons!

I think Dylan did a great job!

Let's hope Flier doesn't get caught!

  2. I love that!! What a creative idea for his turkey!

This is my favorite project every year! Eli (well, mom) made his turkey disguised as a skateboarder last year standing in front of a brick wall, complete with mini-skateboard, hoop earring, chain necklace and a hoodie. It was so fun!!!

  10. As a former K teacher, that was one of my all time favorite things to assign the kids. It is AMAZING what people (ie the parents :) ) come up with - and I have never seen one that had an idea like yours. So original, and so cute!
