Family Fun at Virginia Beach {Day Six}

Family Fun at Virginia Beach

We are less than two weeks away from our next family vacation, and I have yet to finish recapping our last trip. I took so many pictures during the last three days in Virginia Beach that I have to break it into two posts, but I'm determined to finish the recap over the next week! Although I do want to share our family trip, it was honestly very low on my list of priorities over the past year!

We absolutely love Virginia Beach, and have gone there the past few years, but we opted for a different beach this year. We're excited, but looking back at all the fun pictures makes me regret that just a bit! If only we could plan TWO beach vacations each Summer...or just move to the beach!

Virginia Beach Day 6

Our sixth day at Virginia Beach started with a little stowaway in Lexie and Lily's bed!

After breakfast, I drank my hot tea on the balcony, and got to see some dolphins swimming near the shoreline.

It just so happened to be Liam's last day as a three year old!

After lunch, we headed down to the beach for the afternoon. (Apparently I spent the entire afternoon chasing after Liam!)

That evening after dinner, we strolled down the boardwalk to listen to the Virginia Beach Symphony at Neptune Park. It's one of our favorite things to do in Virginia Beach! (It's free and usually every Thursday evening during the Summer. Don't miss it!)

After the concert, we stopped to let the girls do something that they had been wanting to do for the past two years...they were SO excited!

After a fun-filled day, we headed back to our suite for a snack before bed!

The Lucky Few

Stay tuned next week for the last installment of our Virginia Beach Family Vacation. Hint: It involves sunrises, Liam's birthday, and beach portraits!

  1. That does sound fun! We've never been to VA Beach but it is on our list of places to visit soon.

  2. How fun!! I've seen those blow up balls - glad the girls got to enjoy them!!

  3. I love this! The bubble things that the girls did look amazing. You're inspiring me to write about our vacation. Glad you guys had fun!

  4. Sounds just like me! I am so behind on blogging. I have so many trips to catch up on. It looks like y’all had an amazing trip to Virginia beach! I adore all the pictures. Mason did one of those hamster ball looking things once and I about had a panic attack!! He loved it, but I just couldn’t imagine the fun of being trapped inside that thing. I was worried about air! Ha.

  5. What a fun trip! You always manage to capture the day perfectly with your photos. Here's to enjoying your next beach vacation!

  6. Looks like you guys had a great trip!

  7. There's nothing better than an outdoor concert! V Beach sounds a fab mix if everything - I bet you and your crew were exhausted at the end of the day! Tea with a view of dolphins sounds amazing xx

I love hearing from you! Let's chat!!!
