Happy Monday and Happy July! It's hard to believe another week of Summer has flown by, and June is over. Motherhood is never dull, so it's no wonder that time seems to fly by!
Just like most Americans, we're preparing for the upcoming holiday this week. This week is going to be a busy one, so I'm glad we finally got our (mostly) quiet week! It was so quiet that I only took a few pictures last week, and didn't even pull out my camera every day. That's rare for me!
Monday, June 25th
Most of Monday was spent at home. We headed out to do our weekly grocery shopping that afternoon, then spent the rest of the night at home. Just like we do almost every Summer evening, we head outside after dinner, and we stay outside until the fireflies come out. It's one of my favorite things about Summer!
Tuesday, June 26th
Most of Tuesday was quiet. That afternoon, my parents came by to pick Lily up for her week at their house. She would be staying until Friday night! After she left, Liam and I had to run to the bank, but then we had another quiet evening at home.

Wednesday, June 27th
We spent all of Wedneday at home. I had to take some sponsored photos for my blog and social media, so I told the kids we weren't going anywhere that day. It was a nice, laid-back day!
Thursday, June 28th
After a few semi-relaxing days, we decided to go have some fun Thursday afternoon. Our first stop was at the library for some new books to read, then we let out some energy at a local park. After our outing, we had a relaxing night at home.

Friday, June 29th
Friday started out a bit rough. I woke up really early with a migraine. I eventually fell asleep, and when I woke up, Ella was curled up with me, and Lexie was curled up on the dog bed. We had a slow start, but eventually headed up to my parent's house, where we were reunited with Lily! After we had dinner, Lily decided she wanted to ride a bike without training wheels...so she did!

Saturday, June 30th
On Saturday, the girls, Liam and I slept in while Grant and Dylan went out for their weekly father/son drive. That afternoon, we headed to a graduation party for our friend's son. When we met them, he was just a little boy. It's hard to believe he graduated and is headed to college in the Fall! We had to leave early, but Lily and Dylan went home with our friends for sleepover. Later that evening, some friends came over. We ended up playing Yardzee, and watching a few episodes of Modern Family. I headed to bed earlier than I usually do, but I was exhausted!
Sunday, July 1st
We had a quiet Sunday at home. It was really hot outside, so we stayed in the house until late evening. Grant ran out to pick Dylan and Lily up from their sleepover, and when they got home, Grant's mom was already here for a visit. 3 of my 4 kiddos ended up asleep by 6:30 PM, so Lexie, Grant and I had a quiet dinner. Liam did end up waking up, so we took him outside to play for a bit, even though it was still really hot and humid.
Which brings us to late Sunday evening...everybody but Grant is wide awake, and we're gearing up for a busy (but FUN) week ahead!
How was your weekend?
