Every Memorial Day, I take a moment to think about all the men and women who died while serving our country. Memorial Day is the start of the carefree days of summer, but I think it's important to remember that all those carefree moments are made possible by the brave people who gave their lives for our country.
Memorial Day felt like a summer day. The weather was gorgeous, spirits were high, and the promise of long, hot, lazy summer days lingered in the air.
There were plenty of carefree moments.
Friends to play with...
(Oh, boys!)
A first Memorial Day to celebrate...
Watermelon to eat...
Siblings to snuggle...
Sweet moments shared with best friends...
Birthdays to celebrate...
Delicious picnic food...
Sunshine to soak up...
And plenty of outdoor play...
We're looking forward to many more days like this one!
