Memorial Day

Every Memorial Day, I take a moment to think about all the men and women who died while serving our country.   Memorial Day is the start of the carefree days of summer, but I think it's important to remember that all those carefree moments are made possible by the brave people who gave their lives for our country.

Memorial Day felt like a summer day.  The weather was gorgeous, spirits were high, and the promise of long, hot, lazy summer days lingered in the air.

There were plenty of carefree moments.

    Looks like y'all had a great day to celebrate - we were rained out Monday, but still were able to get some good grub on the grill (say that 3x fast)!! Your kiddos are so cute & look like they had a happy day!
