Grant, the kids, and I are very blessed to be surrounded by a huge family and a large group of close friends that are like family.
One of those friends celebrated his 4th Birthday over the weekend, and we were happy to be a part of it! Logan is the funniest little guy I know!
The party was held at Chuck E Cheese. As soon as we got there, Dylan ran off with his friends (which is why I only have ONE picture of him from the party), and our friends took Liam. Grant went off to win tickets for the girls, while I took the girls on the rides.
We don't go to Chuck E Cheese very often. Lexie had been there before, but couldn't remember being there. It was Lily's first time, and she LOVED it!
The girls had so much fun riding the rides, but it was time to head back to the table to celebrate! Dylan finally reappeared!
After pizza and cake, the big mouse made his rounds. Lily was infatuated!
Lexie slapped him five, but preferred the robotic version.
True to form, the girls returned to their cake. They are my daughters, after all.
Grant helped the girls to use the rest of their tokens while I got a chance to eat my cake and talk to friends.
Liam soaked up all the attention. He was passed from friend to friend and he was perfectly content being cuddled! He slept through the entire party, and stayed asleep as I strapped him into his car seat to go home.
The kids had a great time celebrating Logan's birthday, and I'm fairly certain the birthday boy had a fantastic party!
After 3 days in the hospital, dinner with Grant's family, a visit to meet my dear friend's new baby, and a chaotic party, I was exhausted and happy to come home and put on some pajamas!
Our family has a busy social life, but it's a good thing. Life is about the memories you make and the people that surround you. And we are living it up!!!
sounds like a fun time. I loved going to chuck-e-cheese when I was little!!
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteKids sure love Chuck E Cheese. Not my fav place, but it is what it is. We're headed there for a birthday party of a friend of the twins on Saturday. You got really cute pictures!
ReplyDeleteLilly's outfit was so cute! My girls love Chuck E Cheese but we only go a couple times a year haha
ReplyDeletemy daughter has the exact leopard outfit. so cute! they always have such a blast at those places. love liam's hat too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome little man! I'm in love with Liam's hat! The Chuck E cheese near us is always super crowded and I hate it. I love the concept, but parents let their kids run wild and teach them no respect. I can't stand it. Drives me nuts. So we typically don't go unless it's for a Birthday party.Even then we try to get our way out of it!
ReplyDeleteHey old friend! Your kids are getting so big! They are all adorable! I know it's been a while but I am starting up blogging again. :) I have missed you!

Thank you for getting such great pictures, darn my camera acting up. Not sure if a kid touched it or not! But... You did a fabulous job!
ReplyDeleteWe are blessed to have you all too. Logan loves his friends and did have a great day! He is STILL chatting about it!
The older they get the harder those pictures are to come by when there's an activity/party involved. BUT the pic you got of Dylan is super cute! Lily's face is hysterical in the pic of her and Lexie on the horse. haha! The pic of Lily with the cake...SO GROWN UP! I'm with Lex...mechanical mouse all.the.way.
ReplyDeleteGlad y'all had a good time!
OH MY GOSH. Lily's outfit. Cutest ever!!!
ReplyDeleteYou have 4 beautiful babes!!
