Lexie's year of gymnastics ended yesterday with a gymnastics show!
My mom and Dylan came along to watch her show off the skills she learned. Although I felt guilty about it, I decided to leave Lily at home with my dad, so I could focus on Lexie!
They started with a warm up, then rotated between trampoline, floor, beam, and bars. My pregnancy/mama hormones got the best of me, and I found myself choking back tears as I watched her.
At the end of the show, the coaches presented each gymnast with a medal!
She was so proud of that medal!
After the show, we showered my sweet girl with love and praise!
Lexie learned so much this year, but she has chosen to give up gymnastics and focus on dance in the Fall. Before leaving, she said goodbye to her coach, Mr. Bob.
I am so proud of my sweet, special, beautiful girl!
Congratulations on a great year in gymnastics, Lexie Bean!!! We love you so much!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Lexie. She looks like a little champion. I can understand hormones getting the best of you; I think I would get all choked up even without the added pregnancy hormones!
