Friday Favorites {Fashion & Beauty, Fab Finds and Fun}

Happy Friday, my friends! It has been a while since I shared a roundup of my current favorites, and there are quite a few things that I currently love. Before my "Love List" gets too long, I want to share them with you!

Friday Favorites

We had quite a week. The busyness that comes from all the end of the school year events has started, Dylan and Lexie are working hard preparing for their concerts, dance recital insanity has begun, and an immediate family member had a very serious health scare last Friday and ended up getting brain surgery on Tuesday. Due to privacy, I won't go into many details, but he is doing as well as can be expected and has some tough work ahead of him. Needless to say, Grant and I are running on very little sleep, while dealing with a lot of stress and worry.

BUT...the kids are off school today and I am so thankful we have a 3 day weekend to unwind. Then again, who am I kidding? This weekend is going to be busy, too!

Without further ado, here's what I'm currently loving!

{LuLaRoe}

I recently tried out LuLaRoe for the first time! Liana sent me leggings and a shirt, and sent each of my girls a pair of leggings. I can see why women love LuLaRoe so much! These leggings are definitely the comfiest pair I own!

Here's a sneak peek of a post I'm putting together next week...

...check back on Tuesday to see the different ways I styled LuLaRoe!

{Cast-Free Lexie}

We did receive some great news this week! I took Lexie to the hospital for an appointment with her surgeon. They cut off her cast for x-rays...and left it off! We were not expecting that. As her surgeon put it, "Really bad breaker, really fast healer!"

It is such a relief! Mainly for her, but (in a selfish way) for me, too. Once again, she can dress herself, shower by herself (without lots of preparation to keep her cast dry) and fix her hair by herself!

{Fab Shoe Finds}

I rarely go to Walmart, and when I do, I don't check the shoe department. My awesome friend, Tracy, gave me the heads up that Walmart had really cute girls' shoes for under $5. I had to stop in to get something, and left with a few pairs of shoes for my girls. I could have easily bought more, because they were all so cute!

These three pairs were Lily's favorite. I bought Lexie the same shoes, but they don't have the strap. At just $4.98 each, you need to run and grab some before they're gone! Well, Walmart, I'm impressed!

Although it wasn't an amazing deal, I have been looking for a cute pair of lace up sandals. The ones I loved online were over $40. I found a similar pair at TJ Maxx for only $16! Sold!

{Toddler Hipster Style}

Most of Liam's wardrobe comes from Trendy Bubs. I'm going to be so bummed when he grows out of their clothing! Thankfully, we have a few more years ahead of us! If Liam isn't rocking the preppy bow-tie look, you'll find him in Trendy Bubs tees and bottoms. And this #STUD shirt is one of our favorites! As always, use the code liamff to save 20% on your order (excluding sale and custom name items).

{Kat Von D Lip Liner}

I don't wear lipstick very often. I'm more of a tinted lip balm or light lip gloss kind of girl! But when Influenster sent me the Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Liner complimentary for review, I was really excited to try something different.

I don't own any nude or brown lip colors so this one was very different. It was a bold look for me! It's perfect for date night or moms night out, and it really does last a long time!

{Nuby Bath Toys}

I mentioned in my Nuby bath toy review and giveaway last week that we discovered a really fun bath product that makes bathtime so much fun! I love being a Nuby Parent Blogger. I've discovered so many awesome products, and these are no exception!

The Hippo Spout Guard is the coolest thing! Not only does it protect little heads from bumps and bruises, but it can turn your tub into a mini spray park. When the hippo's mouth is open, the water flows from the faucet normally. But when you shut it, water sprays out of the nostrils! Liam absolutely loved it and uses it every night at bathtime!

The colorful Nuby Bath Letters & Numbers are a hit, too! They're fun to play with, but they're also a helpful tool I'm using to teach Liam his name. We work on letter and number recognition while he splashes in the tub!

{Dance Pictures}

Lexie and Lily had dance pictures taken last month. There are definitely good ones, but I knew I could do a better job. I just prefer natural light! I didn't get a picture taken of Lexie and Lily together in their recital costumes, and the picture for the programs is due tomorrow, so I had to take a quick picture. I captured their personalities perfectly with the very first shot!

Stay tuned for all the pictures!

{Star Wars Day}

So, who else celebrated Star Wars Day? My boys are big fans! May the fourth be with you!

I hope you all have a warm, sunny, fun weekend! It won't be very warm or sunny in Pittsburgh this weekend, but it's definitely going to be fun!
