This week was a busy one! It seems like everything is scheduled all at once and I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. I really wish I had a relaxing weekend ahead of me, but that isn't happening! We have Lexie's birthday party ahead of us (round two) along with our usual weekend stuff. Even though it was busy, this week was a good one!
Here's what I'm loving right now:
{NEW STROLLER}
I really needed a new stroller for everyday errands that was smaller than my favorite jogging stroller and our double stroller. Lily is often at school when I run errands, so it seemed silly to push around the double stroller with just one kid in it. I spotted the GB Evoq at Babies R Us and LOVED it!
It's perfect for just Liam, but if Lily is with me, she can hop on the small glider board. The basket is huge, Liam can face me or face forward, the seat flips around so easily, and the best part is that the seat reclines completely (like a bassinet) for naps on the go. It also maneuvers like a dream!
{HOUSE OF CARDS}
House of Cards, anyone? The new season is on Netflix TODAY! This is one of my favorite shows, so I am so excited! I have big plans to binge watch this week! #StreamTeam
{21 ACTS OF KINDNESS FOR LIAM}
I introduced our newest project earlier this week. During the next few weeks leading up to World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st, our family is going to be completing 21 Acts of Kindness in honor of our little inspiration. We are three days in, and having so much fun! You can follow along on our daily adventures on Instagram or Facebook. I use #21ActsofKindnessforLiam to document the project!
{DR. SEUSS DAY}
My kids celebrated Dr. Seuss Day with their classes on Wednesday. Lily had Wacky Wednesday at school and wanted some crazy hair. She looked ADORABLE!
{EASTER EGG MINI-MEALS}
I shared one of our favorite things to do for Easter on the blog yesterday. Sometimes the simplest things turn out to be my kids' favorites!
{OPEN HOUSE}
We went to Open House at Dylan's school on Wednesday evening. This is his first year in the new 5th and 6th grade building, and he really enjoyed showing us all around. 5th grade was a really tough transition, but we absolutely love his teachers this year! And I just have to say, I think it's incredibly sweet that he has pictures of his sibling hanging up in his locker! (Now where's the picture of mom and dad?!?)
{NEW HAIR}
Right after Open House, this happened. Thank goodness! He was starting to look like he belonged with the Beatles.
{ST. PATRICK'S DAY}
I swapped all the Valentine's Day decor for St. Patrick's Day decor on Sunday. It won't stay up for long! I'm not a fan St. Patrick's Day and Easter being so close together!

{FUTURE PLUMBER}
I'll just leave you with this gem!
What are you loving this week?
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

That stroller looks amazing! My husband told me if another stroller comes into our house I'm in trouble. Ha ha! I love your Random Acts of Kindness and can't wait to see what else you do. Dylan looks so grown up with that haircut and how sweet is he having pictures of his siblings in his locker. Love!
ReplyDeleteI love the stroller! That is so nice! I also love Dylan's new hair! He looks awesome. We've been having fun all week for Dr. Seuss week. Hope you all have a great weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try that Easter Egg meal with my little kids! They will think that's great...and probably want to eat out of Easter eggs until July! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI love your 21 days of kindness idea! I'm going to look you up on Instagram & Facebook right now so I can follow along!
That stroller is awesome! We debated getting something like that for our two and we never did. I kinda wish we had, but I'm not sure how much use it would have gotten since I run most of my errands on my lunch breaks from work without the kiddos.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I sure wish I liked House of Cards! My hubs watches it and I just can't get into it for some reason... I think I'm the only one!
Have a great weekend!

Oh my gosh Dylan's hair is amazing! He looks like such a rock star! My heart just about melted with that locker picture. He is such an awesome big brother!
ReplyDeleteFuture plumber! hahaha!
ReplyDeleteI love the mini meals in the eggs! So super cute!
That stroller looks amazing! I'm currently debating double stroller vs. stroller with toddler board for when our next kiddo comes... and this looks wonderful. And love those mini egg meals. Cute idea! We'll definitely be doing that :) Hope you're having a great weekend!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! That stroller is so cool! I wish I would've purchased that two years ago. So cool.
ReplyDeleteLook at Mr. Dylan and his siblings' pictures. Stop it. That's one of the sweetest things I've ever seen!
I'm not a fan of St. Patrick's Day and Easter being so close, either. I plan to do a few crafts for St. Patrick's Day, but for the most part - Easter it is! :)
Love House of Cards. That show is definitely my guilty pleasure! Hope you had a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the plumbers crack picture. So cute. I am on episode 3 of House of Cards season 4. Loving it so far.
ReplyDeleteThat last picture made me laugh! Your boy's new haircut looks nice. I've never watched House of Cards, but keep hearing good things about it.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog post :)
