*Liam is actually 5 months old today, but I forgot to post his 4 month update!
Dear Sweet Liam,
You are 4 months old!
Every single day I fall more in love with you. You captivate me with your smile, your joy, and your sweetness.
You touched the hearts of everyone around you. I think it's the combination of your incredible sweetness and your tiny size. At 4 months old, you still look like a newborn!
Every day with you is a blessing. You bring so much happiness into our lives. All it takes is a smile from you to brighten my day!
You have my heart, sweet boy. I know I can say the same for many others. You truly complete us.
I love you more than words can say, Liam.
Happy 4 months!
Love, Mommy
MILESTONES: You began to push up a bit with your arms during tummy time and began working on a supported sitting position.
TOOTH COUNT: None, but teething began!
COMFORTS: Nursing, swaddling, and cuddling.
FIRSTS: Between 3-4 months, you enjoyed being passed around during Dylan's birthday parties, met some new relatives, celebrated your first Thanksgiving, went to birthday parties, went to a big Christmas party, and attended several Christmas events.
EATING: You are still mainly breastfed, but you do get supplemented every day.
SLEEPING: You sleep a 6-8 hour stretch every night before waking to eat, then go back to sleep for a few hours. You take 3-4 naps a day.
SOUNDS/WORDS: You coo and laugh a lot!
LIKES: Eating, snuggling, being swaddled in a warm blanket, taking a bath, interacting with loved ones, your play gym, and your oball.
DISLIKES: Being hungry, being cold, and getting strapped into your car seat.
NICKNAMES: Miam (thanks to your sister, Lily), Little Dude, and Buddy.
HEALTH: You had a great month! You gained weight and stayed healthy. You went to the ENT for a hospital stay follow up and the doctor thinks your Laryngomalacia (floppy vocal chords/airway) is improving. You sounded a bit congested prior to your appointment, but it turned out that you needed a dosage adjustment on your Zantac. We discovered that your ear canals are extremely tiny; so tiny that they can't even see in them with the smallest scope. All that means is that you will need to have your ears cleaned out once a year. I'm sure you'll love that!
EARLY INTERVENTION: Miss Pam comes to our house once a week, and has been working with us to get you to gain weight consistently, and build the strength in your neck muscles and arms.
STATS: 8 lbs 12 oz and 23 3/4 inches.
WEARING: Newborn Diapers and Newborn clothing.
PERSONALITY: You are a little love bug. You are always so happy and you love interacting with others. You love to snuggle up and smile and coo at whoever is holding you. You only cry when you need something. You melt the hearts of everyone you meet!
I love his nickname from his sister "Miam"! So cute. I am glad he is doing better and gaining weight. He is such a joy to watch grow! Thanks for sharing!
