Our Christmas tree has been up and lit since the end of November, but we didn't put the ornaments on it until December 4th. That was when we finally had time to do it!
Dylan and Lexie are always so excited to decorate the tree and look at all their special ornaments. I think they enjoyed it even more this year!
Miss Lily was unimpressed.
She did, however, get to hang the very first ornament. She preferred to supervise the rest of the time...
...and try on elf hats...
...and try on Santa's boot and give him kisses.
Our tree tells a story. Each ornament is special. The kids get 1-2 new ornaments every year, and they love to pick the perfect spots for them!
Grant and I both pitch in. Grant is the one that unwraps all the ornaments, and I help hang them. He did hang one extra special ornament this year, in memory of his best friend who passed away in March.
Our kids are very well-behaved, but doing anything with 3 kids can be chaotic!!!
Our little elves were efficient. One even worked so hard that she fell asleep on the job.
She did have an awakenings moment when her brother walked by with an Oreo. Grant took a picture to prove I was there, too!
Lexie was the lucky one this year. She got to put the star on the tree!
Right after, it was bedtime for the smallest of the small ones.
Dylan and Lexie stayed up a bit longer to admire their work.
Just like that, our living room was transformed into something magical!
LOVE THEM!!! I didn't take decorating photos...totally wish I would have, y'all made such fun memories and the pics to prove it! You take the cutest photos of your family :)
ReplyDeleteAll three of them couldn't be ANY cuter!!!
ReplyDeleteLove Lily's leg decor!! The red ruffles are precious!
I love Lilly's cute outfit! What a special time together! Aaron tried to help Emma, but after he broke a green ball he went to just watching!! I'm rarely in pics so I pop in once in a while to prove I'm really there, too! LOL
