On December 1st, we "officially" kicked off Christmas by attending our local Christmas parade, followed by a Christmas party!
We go to this parade every year. We usually freeze! This year, however, it was unseasonably warm. The coats only went on once the sun set.
We met up with a group of friends before the parade began.
They were handing out free hot dogs, cupcakes, drinks, coffee, and hot chocolate. The kids loved sitting at the curb, snacking on their goodies!
The parade was short, but sweet. It was definitely more fun with friends to enjoy it with!
Before long, the eagerly awaited guest arrived!
The parade came to an end, and the kids played on the spaceship, while waiting for Santa to light up the town!
We stayed long enough to watch the town light up, and then headed on our way for the next round of Christmas fun!
love the blue lites photo; the one where someone is pretending to eat Lilly's flower band
ReplyDeleteFun! And yay for free hot dogs! That means mom didn't have to cook dinner:)
ReplyDeleteHi Stefanie... new follower here! A) your title intrigued me and I think it's SUPER cute! and B), I'm jealous your an aunt to so many little ones. None of our siblings have kids yet (we're the oldest) so I'm patiently waiting while twiddling my thumbs. Happy Holidays to your lovely family!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like you live in a very fun town that caters to kids. I would love that.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to get the holiday season started! I love the festive pictures and the great big happy smiles! I hope all is well my friend! Have a great night!
