This week was one of the worst weeks I've gone through. I'm not one to divulge details publicly. I will just say that it was bad, but I made it through and things are looking up!
WEEK 49
DECEMBER 2nd
We spent the afternoon visiting Grant's family, then joined a bunch of friends for dinner and the Steelers game at a friend's house. It was a fun night!
DECEMBER 3rd
Lily turned 16 months old! The kids went back to school for the week. That afternoon and evening, I babysat my nephew. Dylan was so excited to come home and play with his cousin. That night, I took Lily's 16 month pictures. Afterward, the kids headed to bed!
DECEMBER 4th
It was a busy day! I picked Lexie up from school, and we met our friends at the park to play because it was so nice outside! Afterward, we took the kids to storytime at the library. They ended the session by making ornaments out of gingerbread play dough. That evening, we finally finished decorating our Christmas tree!
DECEMBER 5th
After school, I took Lexie to gymnastics. Lily and I had to run some errands while she was in class. Afterward, we ran to the store to pick up the last of our Christmas decorations. That evening, I had to run a Holiday Party planning meeting. I ate dinner with some friends before returning home and decorating.
DECEMBER 6th
That morning, I met Dylan at school to take him to his Holiday store. Lily came along and charmed everybody with her adorable personality! Dylan lost his tooth on the bus, so he was so excited to tell me all about it and send his tooth home with me. Afterward, I stopped by a friend's house. She made me eggs and coffee. Before long, I had to pick Lexie up from school. We returned home, and stayed home for the rest of the day.
DECEMBER 7th
We spent the afternoon visiting my parents, Lily and I went shopping with my mom, we had dinner with my parents, then returned home. That evening, my friend came over to visit. We stayed up so late!
DECEMBER 8th
Most of the day was spent at home. That evening, we went to a friend's house for dinner and just hung out watching old shows with them. We headed home earlier than usual, because we were all exhausted!
I am glad to hear things are getting better for you. I have been thinking about you! xoxo
