OCTOBER 7th
We spent the day visiting with Grant's dad and Grant's family. After watching the Steelers game with them, we went to our friend's house for dinner. Later that night, their kids came home with us for a sleepover.
OCTOBER 8th
My kids had the day off school. We ended up staying home all day!
OCTOBER 9th
Back to school for my kids! After picking Lexie up from school, we went to Storytime at the library. That evening, the kids and I went out to dinner. It's tough taking them out alone, but they were really good! When we got home, Dylan insisted that I give him a haircut! He looks so different with short hair!
OCTOBER 10th
A typical busy weekday for me. After Lexie came home from school, I took her to gymnastics. That evening, my mom friends and I met for dinner. It was so much fun! As usual, we sat around the table, talking for hours. I love those ladies so much!
OCTOBER 11th
My friend, Amber, picked Lexie and her son, Jack, up from school, and we met at a local restaurant for lunch. Lily was a bit of a beast from teething, but lunch was good! After lunch, we met my best friend, Jocie, at the park to play for a bit. The weather was beautiful, so it was nice getting outside! Once we got home, I started to feel really crappy, so I skipped my evening plans!
OCTOBER 12th
I woke up with a cold, so I let the kids sleep an extra hour, and drove them to school. (They weren't late-their bus just gets to our house REALLY early!) That afternoon, I went to visit my parents. My mom, Lily, and I did our monthly Costco stock-up shopping trip (we split a lot of stuff). Once we got back to her house, my sister and nephews joined us for dinner. Dylan went home with them for a sleepover, and we headed back home to put the girls to bed.
OCTOBER 13th
It was a busy day of partying! We went to our friend's son's birthday party, followed by my nephew's birthday party. Grant was feeling bummed about his dad, so we missed party #3. Later that night, Grant decided to go watch the Tigers playoff game with his friend, so we tagged along. The game dragged on and on and on. The kids were so tired from all the partying, and ended up falling asleep before we left!
I love Lexie's bow sweater! Goooooooo Tigers!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of everyone crashed out. And still can't get over how handsome and grown up Dylan is looking in his new haircut!
ReplyDeleteYou are probably the busiest person I know:) Taking the kids out to each alone is always a challenge...but sometimes you just have to get out of the house!
ReplyDeleteGlad you can still make time for friends with your busy life and kids, it's re-energizing.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures. I love Dylan's haircut. Looks like you all had a full week.
ReplyDeleteAww Lily's hair is growing long now! So cute :) Super like your Oct 10th's photo. That can be use as a cover photo in FB :)
ReplyDeletehugs,
marice
Love the last pic, I'm always exhausted after reading about how much you do also! Oh and I spoke waaay too soon on the teething, Braden now has about 4 trying to poke through. He's been...cranky...to say the least :(
