It was an exciting day for Dylan!
His last day of first grade was finally here!
On the first day of first grade, he still had a baby face.
Over the past 9 months, he has changed so much. He lost a few more teeth, grew some adult teeth, got taller, and grew out his hair. He lost his baby face.
He learned how to read past his grade level, and excelled in school. It was a great year for him!
This morning, I sent my first grader off to school...
...and a second grader returned home.
My little man may be moving out of the primary center and into the elementary school, but he will always be my baby. My sweet, freckle-faced, big front-toothed, shaggy haired baby.
Congratulations on an amazing year in first grade, Dylan. We are so proud of you!
Oh man how exciting!!! I just took kaylin to her 1st day of preschool yesterday and am still adjusting to how fast they grow up!
ReplyDeleteWow he really did grow up! Wah! Congrats Dylan, second grade will be fun! XO
ReplyDeleteWe definitely are on the opposite side of the world, yours just finished when ours is just about to start. Congratulations Dyl :) Enjoy summer break!
ReplyDeleteMy kids have 3 more days. Doesn't it seem that the older they get the faster time goes? He is so cute, and seeing your kids navigate books and find their favorites is so much fun.
ReplyDeleteWow!! You must be such a proud Mama!! They do grow up so fast, my kids will be going into the 6th and 4th this year!! So hard to believe!! :-)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great summer!! Stop by and visit and say hello at my blog when you get a chance!!
He does look different! I think I'll be a sobbing mess when this time comes.
ReplyDeleteVery exciting! I bet your summer is already packed!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Dylan! He is such a handsome boy!
ReplyDeleteHe is so handsome!
ReplyDeleteOur last day of school is on Friday. Buddy can't wait to be a second grader (I, on the other hand, can wait!)
Woa yeah - what a difference 9 months makes! Kinds funny, huh?!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Dylan! He so handsome.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a crazy week! The end of school is always like that for us. Sorry about the broken hand.
