She was so excited when she woke up this morning! Her breakfast of choice for the whole family was cinnamon rolls. She spent some time with her baby sister before getting ready for her big day.
We dropped Lily off with her grandma, and posed for a quick picture with our first baby girl!
Lexie is attending the same preschool that Dylan went to, and even has the teachers that he had! Plus, her best buddy, Tyler, and several of the siblings of Dylan's former Pre-K classmates are in her class. This definitely helped make her feel more comfortable!
Today was a shortened split class, and we got to go with her. On Friday, it will also be a shortened split class (only half the class attends), but she will be on her own. I think she'll be fine. She really enjoyed herself today!
We celebrated Lexie's first day by letting her pick out donuts and a special dinner (eggs, bacon, and toast)! I think she had a good first day and is eager to go back. It's a wonderful school, and I know she's in great hands! I hope she has a great first year of school!

I have to say it too--she is sooo cute! My son just started preschool yesterday and loved it. He was so excited to go that he wore his backpack around for an hour before school. :)
