Eggs!

Last night, we had some friends over to dye Easter eggs with us. I realize we went to an egg hunt/egg dying party on Saturday morning, but there's always room for more hard-boiled eggs!

We set up the table with all the supplies, and let the kids work their magic!

7 dozen eggs later, their work was complete. Lexie was the last kid remaining.

She had the hands to prove it.

During the egg dying, we had a special visitor. Just outside our kitchen window, the "Easter" Bunny came to visit!

The kids were so proud of their eggs, and had fun sharing the experience with their friend!

  1. I need to do this with Carter but he has a very low attention span for doing anything that requires him to sit so I think I'd end up finishing it and cleaning up the mess. Looks like they had fun though so maybe it would be worth it!

  3. That is a LOT of eggs!! What is the spinner thing that Lexie was using? Is that cool? We haven't even bought anything for Easter yet. Even though it is so late, I feel like it's snuck up on us.

Did the dye come off Lexie's hands? LOL

  6. How fun! We are going to attempt egg dying this week and hopefully not make too big of a mess in the process. I bet the kids were super excited to see that bunny!

  9. Good grief that's a lot of eggs! Each of my kids does 6! This year we are doing them the "easy" way by using strainers over a bowl ... place the egg in, pour over a little vinegar, drop in drops of food coloring and swirl around in the strainer then rinse. We'll see!

    Have a Happy Easter!
