Sleep, Baby, Sleep

At the age of 6, there's not much baby left in my Kindergartner. He's a big boy in so many ways. He can read, he rides the bus to and from school, he is a Lego-building pro, he showers alone, and he now insists on wearing boxers.

It's difficult to remember the days when he was so young, but when he sleeps, I catch a glimpse of the baby that he once was.

  7. Awwww. That is so true. They grow up so fast but when they sleep they're our babies. Well, they'll always be our babies but they just look so young and innocent sleeping. :)

  9. Love these pictures. Chase is the same way...he only wears boxers now and is asking to take showers by himself.

  12. even as a teen - when they are sleeping you can still see them as a baby. My 15 year old still resembles his sleeping baby pics when I go in to make sure he is still alive at 10:00 in the morning on weekends :D
