Capture the Moments in March

Capture the Moments March

Every month, I try to capture all the moments that make life so special! I know I take a LOT of pictures, but there's a good reason for it. So often I wish I could freeze time, but since that isn't possible, photos will have to serve as a reminder of all the moments I hold so dear. Someday, I'm going to be so thankful to have these moments to look back on!

March was a busy month for us. It was also the last month with my trustworthy Nikon D90. After nearly a decade of use, my beloved camera started to go. I tried to hold out for months, but it was obvious that the photo quality was getting worse. So for my birthday last week, I got two amazing gifts: a new camera and lens! I can't wait to share all those photos after April ends! But for now, here's the last batch of photos with my D90 for the Capture the Moments March Edition!

We kicked off March by continuing with the Read Across America Week Celebration. Lily rocked her crazy socks for Fox in Socks Day and she dressed up as her favorite book character the following day. I LOVE how she chose the old lady from the "There was an old lady who swallowed a..." series!

As Lily's confidence grew with her reading skills, she spent more time reading to Liam.

Liam and Puppy naptime quickly became my favorite time of the day! (Because let's be honest...sometimes it really is like having two toddlers!)

We hung around.

We toured Lexie's school for Open House, and left without a broken arm, unlike last year!

5th Grade

But we made up for that by hurting a foot and refusing to walk for two days. X-ray showed no fractures or breaks...just a sprain! (And my arms grew very tired very quickly!)

Easter Traditions

True to the saying, March came in like a lion, attacked us with neverending snow, and went out like a lamb! But despite the winter weather, it was full of so many incredibly good moments!
