If so, I have the most delicious frozen treat for you! If not? Well...you're crazy! (I'm kidding of course. Mostly!)
I like quick and easy recipes. I enjoy cooking and creating things with my kids, but as a mom of 4, there isn't much time to spare! This recipe is really easy and REALLY delicious!
FROZEN CHOCOLATE-COVERED BANANA BITES
There are just two ingredients:
- Bananas
- Dark Chocolate Chips

You can make this yummy treat in just a few easy steps:
1. Slice your bananas (we typically use 3 bananas).

If your kids are old enough and want to help, they can slice the bananas with a child-safe knife.

2. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and place it where you will be making the banana bites.
3. Pour the dark chocolate chips into a glass bowl.

4. Microwave the dark chocolate chips for 1 minute. Stir until melted. Mine melted after 1 minute on high, but if it needs more time, try microwaving in 30 second intervals, stirring in between.
5. Now it's time to make the Frozen Chocolate-Covered Banana Bites! Pierce a banana slice with a fork and dip it in the chocolate. Once it's fully covered, place it on the wax paper-lined cookie sheet.

6. Repeat until all the banana slices are gone!

7. Place cookie sheet in the freezer for 3-4 hours.

8. After a few hours, peel the banana bites off the wax paper and place in a bowl to share with your family! (Or just keep them for yourself!)

9. ENJOY!

10. Once you're done, put the leftovers (IF there are any left!) in a storage container, tightly seal, and put back in the freezer.

Frozen Chocolate-Covered Banana Bites are one of our favorite snacks! They're finger-licking good!!!
