Lexie's 7th Birthday

On February 22nd, our sweet Lexie Bean turned 7! 

She woke up to a room filled with balloons and a table decorated for her birthday breakfast.  She put on her fancy dress and was ready to party!



We always start birthdays with donuts and singing Happy Birthday!




Lexie couldn't wait to open her presents!  She got a little suitcase filled with flip flops, sunglasses and a case, and a journal from her siblings.  We got her a small, inexpensive TV for her room.  She has a lot of sleepovers with her cousin, and really wanted a TV and DVD player in her room so they could watch movies. She loved everything!





Lexie's birthday fell on a Saturday this year, so we were able to have both her parties that day.  We have such a big family and group of friends that we have to split the parties into a family party and a friends party if we have it at home! First up was the family party!

Lexie chose a fashion party this year. Lots of bling was involved! Lexie got to choose what Grant, Dylan, Lily, and Liam wore.  She REALLY wanted me to wear my wedding dress, but that wasn't happening!  We all ended up looking fancy!
















 








The first party was a success!  We had a little bit of down time before the second party began.  Lily stole Lexie's new monkey and took a nap, and then the girls watched some TV.




I got everything cleaned up from the first party and set up for the second party.  Our friends soon began arriving, and our house was FILLED with kids! 



















The party girl was asleep before midnight, but her party lasted until almost 2 AM.  She had the best birthday!

The celebrating continued the following day.  One of her gifts was a trip to Build a Bear.  My sweet friend, Amber, did this for her last year, and asked Lexie if she wanted to go again this year.  Lexie was thrilled!  We went to Build a Bear, H&M, and Olive Garden. She had a huge smile on her face the entire afternoon!







Two days later, we celebrated at her school with a snack and I read a book to her class.  That evening, she chose to go to Dairy Queen for her birthday dinner.





Lexie had a great 7th Birthday! In her words?  I LOVED it!
