WEEK 7
February 12th
We spent an exhausting day at Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh. Liam was seen by the cardiologist, the doctor at the Down Syndrome Center, and the feeding team. We celebrated getting out of there with dinner at Taco Bell! Dylan, Lexie, Lily, and my parents were waiting for us when we got home.
February 13th
I spent the morning at home. That afternoon, I dropped Lily and Liam off at Grant's mom's house so I could go to Lexie's Valentine's Day Party at school. It was a bit rough, because the head parent didn't show up, so we had to make do with a lack of supplies. I had a fun time with Lexie! That evening, I helped Dylan make a box for his valentines.
February 14th
Happy Valentine's Day! We showered our kids with love (and treats!), Liam had OT that morning, we went grocery shopping, we had dinner with my parents, then we spent the rest of the night at home.
February 15th
We went to my nephew's birthday party at Skyzone. That evening, Dylan had a sleepover at their house and Aubrey had a sleepover at our house.
February 16th
We went to a friend's dinner. We spent the night enjoying their company!
February 17th
Dylan and Lexie didn't have school, so we spent the day at home. That afternoon, we met with Liam's nutritionist.
February 18th
Liam turned 6 months old! We celebrated with a trip to the doctor for his 6 month checkup. Poor kid!
WEEK 8
February 19th
Liam had OT in the morning. At lunchtime, Grant and I picked Dylan up from school and took him to the dermatologist. He had to get a mole removed. It was a quick procedure and Dylan was SO brave! We rewarded him with a trip to McDonald's, stopped at Lowe's, and headed home.
February 20th
Dylan stayed home from school to heal. Grant drove Lexie to school, and I watched Charlie and Logan for a few hours. After Lexie got home from school, I took her birthday outfit shopping. We had a great time together! When we returned, our friends were here with pizza.
February 21st
We spent the morning shopping for Lexie's birthday presents and party supplies. That evening, we had dinner with my parents. Once home, I started to get things ready for Lexie's birthday/party!
February 22nd
Happy 7th Birthday, Lexie!!! We celebrated our beautiful girl with TWO birthday parties. She had a great day!
February 23rd
Lexie, Liam, and I picked Amber up. Amber's gift to Lexie was a trip to Build a Bear and lunch at Olive Garden. Lexie was smiling the entire afternoon! That evening, we had dinner at Grant's Nannie's house with his Nannie, Uncle Scott, and mom.
February 24th
I met Steph at Burger King for a fun playdate. We stopped on the store on the way home, then spent the rest of the day at home. That evening, we made homemade pizza for the first time.
February 25th
That morning, we met with Liam's physical therapist for the first time. That afternoon, we concluded Lexie's birthday festivities with a snack and book at school, followed by dinner at her choice restaurant: Dairy Queen!
What a sweet family!!! Great pics!!!!
