WEEK 5
January 29th
Dylan and Lexie had another snow day due to the cold weather. They were so excited! Liam had OT that morning. The rest of the day was spent at home.
January 30th
We finally escaped the house for a playdate at Ballocity/Fun Fore All. The toddlers had a great time and the babies took turn napping.
January 31st
We went to my parent's house for the afternoon. My mom, the babies, and I went shopping, then returned to her house for dinner. Once home, the kids played while I did laundry and put away groceries.
February 1st
It was supposed to be a day spent at home with just Rex and Jack visiting and Aubrey sleeping over. It turned out to be a day full of visitors. Grant's mom and Nannie stopped by in the afternoon, then Rex and Jack arrived. Shortly after, my sister and brother in law stopped in when they dropped Aubrey off. After that, Grant's brother, his girlfriend, and his girlfriend's son showed up. That evening, my sister and two nephews came over. At one point, there were 9 kids in my living room. Somehow during all that, I managed to file our taxes. Relief! After almost everyone left, I started feeling yucky. My head hurt and I just felt like going to bed. Dylan went home with Rex and Jack for a sleepover, we put a movie on for the girls, and I did end up going to bed earlier than usual.
February 2nd
I woke up with an ear infection, which explained why I felt sick the night before. All day, I was miserable, but we ended up going to a friend's house to watch the Super Bowl. It was fun, but would have been a lot better if my ear wasn't throbbing. By the time I got home, I had a fever, slight body aches, and chills.
February 3rd
I felt sick all night, but my fever finally broke at 8 AM and the pain in my ear eased a bit. Now I know why Liam was miserable when he got an ear infection. OUCH! I still wasn't feeling great, so we stayed home all day.
February 4th
It was a crazy day! Dylan and Lexie went to school, I took Liam for a weight check, stopped at Target, went home for lunch, picked Dylan and Lexie up from school, went to a party planning meeting, stopped at McDonald's for lunch, took Dylan to the dermatologist, stopped at the pharmacy, FINALLY came home, and settled in for the night as a snowstorm came through.
I hope you are feeling better! Those last few pictures of your boys melt my heart!
