Saturday was my nephew's birthday party, and on Sunday, we went to our friends' 4th of July picnic!
My nephew, Brandon, turned 8 on July 1st. On Saturday, our family gathered to celebrate. Brandon chose a hockey theme this year, and the boys spent hours in the driveway, playing hockey. After the party, they all camped outside, in tents!
After the party, Dylan stayed to camp out, Lexie went home with my parents for a sleepover, and Grant, Lily, and I went to a friend's house to visit. It was an easy night for us, with just one kid!
On Sunday, Gary and Tracy held their annual 4th of July picnic. It was fun spending the afternoon with our friends, and the kids had a great time, as always. It's nice that a group of kids, ranging in age from 1-14, get along so well!
By the time the picnic ended, the kids were exhausted after such a busy weekend. We loaded them into the car, and within minutes, all 3 kids were asleep at 7:30 PM! Definitely a sign of a fantastic 4th of July weekend!
wow, you guys sure do keep busy :)
