The Happenings of Week Seven

FEBRUARY 12th

Everybody headed to school/work, leaving Lily and I at home.  It was a laid-back morning for us.  We eventually picked Lexie up from school, then stopped by the library.  We had quite a bit of time before storytime started so we visited Grant's mom for a bit.  We headed back to the library for storytime.  Once home, Lily took a nap, Lexie did homework, then I got some work done around the house.  That evening was filled with homework, baths, and dinner.



 
 
 
 


FEBRUARY 13th

It was a busy day!  That morning, Lily and I did a bunch of shopping.  That afternoon, I dropped the girls off at Grant's mom's house and I went to Dylan's Valentine's Day party at his school.  It was incredibly chaotic, but he was thrilled that I was there PLUS he got to leave early with me! We picked the girls up and stopped at the park so they could burn off some energy.  While there, the temperature dropped and huge snowflakes started falling, so we had to return home for the night.






FEBRUARY 14th

Happy Valentine's Day!  We had a great day!  That evening, we celebrated with a group of our close friends and their families!





FEBRUARY 15th

After picking Lexie up from school, we went to visit my parents.  That evening my mom, Lily, and I did some shopping.  We returned to my parents house for dinner with my sisters and nephews. I didn't get home until later that night, and I had a ton of cleaning to do!





FEBRUARY 16th

We stayed home most of the day.   That evening, we went to our friend's house for dinner.  We didn't stay too late, because they had to wake up early in the morning.





FEBRUARY 17th

We visited Grant's mom and Nannie that afternoon, then dropped Dylan off at my sister's house for a sleepover.  That evening, my great niece, Aubrey, came over to our house for a sleepover.  We also had our friends over for dinner.  The girls stayed up really late, which meant I stayed up late, too!







FEBRUARY 18th

The kids had the day off school, but we were still up early!  After Aubrey went home, we left to pick up Dylan at my sister's house.  We visited with my sister for a bit, then decided to go out for lunch.  While there, we ran into our friends, who ended up taking Dylan and Lexie with them for the afternoon.  I had a few hours of quiet time at home while Lily napped, which was really nice!  We sent the kids to bed early, because they were exhausted, and caught up on The Walking Dead before heading to bed!
