Week In Review {Week 45: 365 Project}

WEEK 45

I can't believe there are only 7 more weeks left in 2012!  Time truly does fly.

November 4th

We spent the day visiting Grant's mom and Nannie, then watched the Steelers game and had dinner with our friends.

November 5th

The kids headed back to school for the week.  Lexie had her Fall Festival party. Once everybody came home, we just stayed home for the night. Dylan ended up losing his 7th tooth!

November 6th

I went to Lexie's parent-teacher conference which lasted all of 60 seconds.  She is doing great!   Afterward, we went to vote.  We picked Lexie up from school, took the girls to lunch, then took Lily to her 15 month checkup.  She's doing well!  Her height is over the 100th percentile, but her weight has plateaued.  The pediatrician was a bit concerned until I pointed out that she is just going to be tall and thin like her big siblings.  4 vaccinations later, we were able to head home.  That evening, our friends came over for dinner.

November 7th

After school, I took Lexie to gymnastics.  As we were leaving, her coach told me she was doing great and learning rapidly!  We did some grocery shopping before heading home for the night.

November 8th

Just a typical day.  Surprisingly, we had no plans that evening, so I got some cleaning done at home!

November 9th

The kids had the day off school.  I went to Dylan's parent-teacher conference early that morning.  He, too, is doing great.  The conferences are always easy for me because the kids get great grades and are extremely sweet, polite, and well-behaved!  That afternoon, I babysat 3 of my nephews for a while, then visited my parents.  That evening, my mom, the kids, and I went shopping.  Afterward, we had dinner with my parents and visited with my sister and her family.

November 10th

We had a lazy morning at home, then went to help our friends for a bit.  After dinner with them, we headed home.  Grant and I spent the night catching up on our favorite shows that we have been missing!  It was a nice, relaxing night!

  1. The weeks sure are flying by. I like the pic format - not sure if it's new or if it simply looks better on the laptop as opposed to the Kindle!! Every parent-teacher conference I go to is the same, they basically ask me why I am there because his grades and behavior are pretty much perfect! I couldn't ask for more! (And I hope it continues!)

  3. I love Dylan's new smile! So glad that Lexie has adjusted well to kindergarten and that Lilybug is the sweetest. Her laying on the dog, omg the cute! My favorite pic is the last one of the 3 of them. You can tell they are gonna be close as they grow up!

  15. What a busy week! I was wondering how you ever fit in the cleaning and the grocery shopping, but I guess you're able to squeeze in some time... You just amaze me! Congrats on your kids being so well behaved! That's probably the best compliment a mom can get!
