Saturday was Trick or Treat night in our area, due to being postponed from the storms. At first, Dylan and Lexie were bummed that they were going to miss it. But...We have had front row tickets for months, and we were not giving them up! Missing it was worth it!
On Saturday night, we headed into Pittsburgh, and joined our friends for a night full of fun. We arrived an hour before the circus started so we could go down on the floor to meet some of the performers, try on costumes, get tattoos, and watch some of the clowns and elephants up close.
A few minutes before showtime, we headed back to our seats. We literally had the best seats in the house! The kids were in awe. Even Lily stood at the wall staring in amazement at what was happening. It was amazing.
At intermission the kids enjoyed their snowcones. $10 each in a clown cup. OUCH. But much less painful than the $25 light up toys they wanted!
Lexie thought the show was over, and was very excited to find out there was a second half! The kids loved the second half of the show the most!
Everybody was having so much fun, and sad to see the show end. Lily made it to the finale, then passed out!
The kids said it was SO much better than trick or treating! I agree. It was an incredible experience! One we'll never forget!

ReplyDeleteThis looked ssssooo awesome. Bob & I got to go w/our chuch...oh, at least 15 yrs. ago and he was as excited as a kid. your photos are wonderful. I'm glad the kids were ok with giving up T. or T. You did have great seats.

ReplyDeleteWas it super loud? We went to the circus when Buddy was only about 4 months old and I just remember worrying about how loud it was.
