Tuesday Tidbits-remembering all the cute and funny things my kids say and do!
I am counting on this post to make me smile tonight. I need to cheer up!
While riding in a play car at the park, Dylan switched seats with his sister, informing her, "You have to drive. I've had too many beers." I'm so glad he already has this designated driver concept down.
When Grant headed to work the other day, Dylan said, "Goodbye, Daddy Sweetie. I miss you." Not to be outdone by her brother, Lexie said, "I love you, cute Daddy."
Dylan's favorite new phrase is, "Can you write it on your shopping list?"
Dylan is my super healthy, non picky eater. He told me this week, "I love to eat healthy food!" And, really, he does!
Dylan started to snuggle his stuffed frog at night. I think he's missing Bob. He also keeps Bob's picture tucked into his frog book.
Lexie loves to dance. Her newest thing to say while dancing, is "Shake my body! Shake my body!"
While giving me a hug, Dylan got right in my face, and said, "Mommy, your breath smells like fruit by the foot." I'm just glad he didn't say it smelled like poo.
My girl loves her BunBun. And her Strawberry Shortcake.
Lexie had a bad cough at night, over the weekend. On Halloween night, she was having so much trouble sleeping, that I decided to bring her to bed with me and prop her up on my chest. She slept great after that. She is not a co-sleeper by any means, and never has been. She just prefers her own space. I discovered that night that she still sucks in her sleep, as if she's nursing. She did that all night, and it was so cute to see! She hasn't nursed since she was 13 months, so it's crazy that she's still doing that!
"You drive, I've had too many beers!" Oh boy, here comes trouble. LOL
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, I remember finding my kids still "sucking" in their sleep for a long time, too. Loved it!!! It always made me smile and sad all at the same time.
ReplyDeleteI like your Tidbit posts. Great memories noted for later!
