September went by in the blink of an eye, and October is in full swing! Although the leaves are starting to change, it still doesn't feel much like Fall. Other than a few cooler days, the weather has remained warm. We actually have a couple days of 80+ degree weather coming up!
It's hard to get in the Fall spirit when it's still so warm outside. We're still wearing Summer clothes, and spending a lot of time outdoors. I would love to toss on some cozier clothes, but I do prefer warm weather!
September was a busy month, filled with back to school events. I didn't take nearly as many pictures as I typically do. But just like I do every month, it's time for a photo recap!
We kicked off September with school days, beautiful Summer weather, and lots of snuggles!
Our weekdays were filled with school, and afternoons were spent playing.
Ella turned 9 months old. She's about 120 lbs now. She loves visiting my parents as much as my kids do! Probably because she can hang out with their cats, sleep under their coffee table, and eat cooked meat and gourmet treats for dinner!
We survived a l o n g rainy day streak!
Liam's photo was featured in Times Square!
We enjoyed many hours outside.
We had a Friday night pizza party!
We had a relaxing weekend for once!
We finally made it to the playground after a very busy month.
Liam adjusted to life in Kindergarten and LOVES it!
With school and activities back in session, we spent many hours in the car!
And just like that, September and one full month in school came to an end!
Other than the fact that my kids were back in school, September felt very much like Summer! Now that October is here, we are looking forward to the eventual start of Fall weather, and the start of the holiday season. And, well, finally sharing some big news for our family this month! Happy October!

ReplyDeleteOur Fall has been nothing but rain and humidity. I guess I just have to get used to Texas forever being hot.
