Happy Friday!
We made it through another week! After an overly busy Friday, I have big plans this weekend...to do nothing. (Other than 10 loads of laundry and grocery shopping and taking care of 4 kids, of course.) But let's be completely honest. Nothing ALWAYS turns into something!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a lazy Saturday and the chance to make it through my blog reading list AND the rest of the book that I've been reading for weeks. Life just keeps getting in the way of my reading. What's up with that?!?
{Fall Scarf Exchange}
I absolutely love blogging! I've been blogging for 8 1/2 years, and although life just keeps getting busier, there's a reason I keep up with it. It's not just for sponsored posts and paid opportunities. My favorite aspect of blogging is the community!
I've had the chance to get to know some amazing women and I look forward to reading their posts every day and keeping up with their families. Some of them have become friends of mine in real life and some of them are "internet friends" whom I've built close relationships with. All of that was made possible by connecting with other bloggers!
I love participating in blogger exchanges and the most recent one was a Fall Scarf Exchange!
I was so excited to be paired up with the beautiful Justine from Little Dove Blog! Lily and I had so much fun shopping for her scarf and I loved what Justine sent me in return!
Nothing beats a warm infinity scarf in one of my favorite colors, adorable boot socks which are my Fall/Winter staple and hot chocolate!
It was finally cool enough to wear the scarf and boot socks today and I absolutely love them. To see what I sent to Justine, head on over to her blog!
{Winter/Christmas Pajamas}
Too soon? I think not! I found these Carter's footies at Costco today for $5.99 a pair. I couldn't pass up that price. I just might pick up a few more when I head to Costco Mom Hour with Pittsburgh Moms Blog tomorrow morning!
{LipSense}
Have you tried LipSense yet? It's AMAZING. If you want a lip color that truly lasts and doesn't rub off on anything, this is your product!
Head on over to my Instagram to enter to win a lip color and gloss!
{Peplum Tops}
Peplum tops are all the rage these days and I spotted a few cute ones at Kohl's recently. I was so excited when I got the recent flier in the mail and discovered that they would be on sale for $17.99 each from November 4th-6th. SOLD! Guess where I'm heading tomorrow with my Yes2You rewards?

{Mug Love}
I absolutely love the mugs I made with the vinyl decals from Follow Your Arrow Clothing! I can't wait to make a few more!

{The Hair Bow Company}
I've been a long-time supporter of The Hair Bow Company and at least 50% of Lily's clothing comes from them! They are KILLING IT with the cute clothes this year. Here are the latest three coming Lily's way:

{Trendy Bubs}
Speaking of clothes, most of Liam's clothing comes from Trendy Bubs. We love them so much!
Their holiday collection is so adorable! Use the code liamff to save 20% at checkout (excluding sale or custom name items).

{Toothless}
A lot of people have asked how Lily is after the tooth knock-out incident last week. (Just typing those words still makes me cringe.) She's perfectly fine and was back to normal the following day! We're getting used to her Jack-O-Lantern smile but it still makes me sad that she lost that baby smile before it was time. That being said, the adult tooth should start coming in within a year. She's just going to have that hole in her smile a bit longer than usual!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! What do you have planned?

I say it's never too early for Christmas pajamas. I actually bought some for the kids in September and October. Gotta get them when I see good prices. :) LOVE Liam in his Trendy Bubs clothes. I've been eyeing those pants with the car and tree on them. So adorable. I hope you get your relaxing weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is gorgeous!! I need to head to my Costco and check for those pj's! That's an amazing price!! I was so bummed to see that my Costco wasn't hosting a Mom hour today! I wonder why?! I'm glad Lily is good and that would make me sad too if it came out before it should have :(
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a little relaxing in this weekend!
Oh man I wish my kids still fit into footy jammies. So cute! I have been wanting to try lipsense for a while too. I need to enter your giveaway! Also that top is SO cute. Becky from BYBMG posted one from Target the other day and I am swooning over it still.
ReplyDeleteLove that scarf!
ReplyDeleteIt's definitely never too early for Christmas PJs!! We usually bust them out the day after Halloween. However, this year, my kids don't have any that fit yet, so I need to head out and grab some soon!
ReplyDeleteJustine is so sweet, and her scarf package is just perfect for Fall! Love that color on you!!
ReplyDeleteI'm on the hunt for Christmas jammies. We haven't been to Costco in a while. I know where we're headed this weekend!
We ordered our Christmas pjs while they were BOGO half-off at Target. We're surprising the kids with a trip to the Polar Express and I can't wait. Love that scarf and socks - hoping the cooler weather decides to show up in Texas soon!! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteLipSense is my JAM!!! I love that I can apply in the morning and the color stays. Just touch up with gloss as needed.
ReplyDeleteThat scarf is gorgeous on you! And give me all the christmas jammies!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you joined us for the scarf exchange! Justine is so thoughtful and you look great in that scarf and boot socks!
ReplyDeleteThe scarf Justine sent is beautiful. And I love that she sent some boot socks as well. Those are the perfect combo. It’s never too soon for cute festive Christmas jams! I bought Mason a pair this weekend, but I am saving them for our Polar Express train ride! Liam is precious and I love his outfit. SO cute! And I am so glad that Lily was back to her normal self the following day.
