Our sweet Lily is three years old!!! She is such an adorable, hilarious, and feisty little girl. She never fails to make us laugh. We simply adore her!
Lily had a wonderful birthday!
She slept in, and immediately insisted on getting dressed in something beautiful when she finally woke up. The birthday outfit I picked out wasn't good enough. She had other plans!
She ran off to wake up her siblings, then sat down in front of her presents and waited.
When you are three years old, you don't have to wait all day to open your presents!
Dylan, Lexie, and Liam gave her their gifts first. Lily loved her Elsa tutu dress, musical Elsa wand, and floating Rapunzel doll!
She was thrilled with all the Frozen toys we bought her! We decided to skip the original present we planned on getting her, because all she said she wanted was Elsa. Unfortunately, we couldn't find ANY Elsa toys. We went to Target on Saturday, planning on buying other items, but the truck had just come in. There was one of everything left in the Frozen section (including Elsa!!!), so we grabbed it all! We couldn't believe our luck!
We have a doughnuts for breakfast birthday theme, but our free spirit decided she wanted bacon, eggs, and toast! We stuck a candle in her toast and sang to her! (Note: Second outfit of the day. She had to wear her new tutu dress!)
After brunch, Grant's mom, Grant's Nannie, and my parents came over to celebrate!
As soon as her presents were unwrapped, she ran to the kitchen, and sat down in front of her cake! My mom always makes cakes for my kids. They get big cakes for their parties and little cakes on their actual birthdays. We love this special tradition!
All the birthday fun made Lily sleepy and cranky!
A nap was just what she needed!
When she woke up, Lily chose where to go for her birthday dinner. So we headed to Burger King! (In her third outfit of the day, of course!)
We ate, the kids played while we chatted with the other parents in the play area, and we all had ice cream cones to celebrate. As we were leaving, a lady gave her a handful of change. She was so happy and kept thanking her!
When we got home, we went outside to play for a little while.
After her bath, she got her annual birthday pictures taken with us. She will always be our baby girl!
Happy 3rd Birthday, my beautiful Lily Bug! I love you with all my heart!
