We had a beautiful day in Pittsburgh! It is so nice to have warm, sunny weather. I didn't think winter was ever going to end!
This afternoon, we met our friends at a nearby park for a picnic/playdate. It was windy, but a lot of fun! I *think* it was Liam's first trip to the park. He wasn't very impressed!
It was a fun afternoon, and it was the first of many park playdates to come!

We went to Dylan and Lexie's Open House tonight.
They are in different buildings, so we went to Dylan's school first. He was so excited to show us his classroom and all the special papers and projects he created throughout the year! I can't believe his year in third grade is almost over!
After Dylan showed us around, we headed up to Lexie's school. Lexie was just as excited to show us her projects, papers, guppies, and plant! She has a great teacher this year!
Lexie showed us around her school, then she and Dylan played on the playground for a few minutes.
I honestly love Open House. It seems pointless to have it in April, at the end of the year, but it's nice getting to see all the work they did over the past year. Dylan and Lexie are always so excited to have their entire family there. They really take pride in their work and schools.
Dylan and Lexie will be in the same school building next year. That's the only year they will be in the same school until Lexie reaches 9th grade. They are growing up way too quickly!

It was a fun, busy day! Liam's face sums it up quite well!
Looks like all the kiddos had a great time! I'm totally loving this warmer weather! I hope it's here to stay.
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's cold right now, but the warm weather is coming back. I hope it stays this time!
DeleteI love Liams face! And that onsie is the best on him :)
ReplyDeletePark playdates are the best. Open house is a bit weird in April but I love seeing our kids school too, Dom no longer has anymore after this year. It will be weird to not to one next year!!
I can't believe how grown up Dom is!
DeleteThanks-Love the onesie! ;)
I'm so excited for this weekend and to play at the park...we have a few play dates. Wow, Dylan will be in 4th grade next year, doesn't seem possible! =) Love that onsie on Liam!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I can't believe Dylan is going into 4th grade and will be 10 in November. Time flies!
