Annual Easter Party and Egg Hunt

Every year, just before Easter, we get together with our friends for a fun Easter Party and Egg Hunt! We only started with a few families and kids, but over the past few years, our group has grown and our families expanded. 

I say it all the time, but only because it's true:  we are so lucky to have all these amazing people in our lives!  We look forward to this party every year!

Saturday was gorgeous!  It was a perfect day for an egg hunt.  We all gathered at Amber's house, and socialized for a bit before sending the dads out to hide the eggs.

The toddlers were up first.  They eagerly lined up to find eggs!









After they found all the eggs, we sent them inside to go through their baskets, and the dads hid the second round of eggs.  This round was a bit more chaotic than the first round!



 



 

It didn't take long for the toddlers to crash that egg hunt and steal more candy!







Liam missed ALL the fun because he fell asleep right after we arrived!



After the egg hunts were over, the kids stayed outside to play.  We decided to do a mini photoshoot with the babies, because they couldn't participate in the egg hunt this year.

Violet refused, but she sure looked adorable!



Adorable little Amelia did great!



Liam was perfectly content to hang out with the eggs!













The kids played outside until it got dark, then came in to eat dinner and dye eggs.





The little kids started to fall asleep one by one, while the older kids played Jenga for hours!





Liam decided to wake up and party with the grownups for a while.  We partied, AKA talked and ate snacks, until 1:00 AM.



Our 2014 Easter Party/Egg Hunt was a big success!!!
