32 Weeks

How far along: 32 weeks!

Total Weight Gained: I gained back 4 1/2 lbs.

How big is baby? Nugget weighs 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long.

How baby is growing: Nugget will gain a third to half of his/her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he/she fattens up for survival outside the womb. Nugget now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Nugget's skin is becoming soft and smooth as he/she plumps up in preparation for birth. babycenter.com

Maternity Clothes: I'm wearing my regular clothes. I had to steal a belt from Grant today, because my pants keep falling down, but I definitely need to wear longer shirts.

Sleep: Sometimes I sleep really well, only waking up to use the bathroom, other times it takes me ages to fall asleep. On those days, I'd rather be nesting than sleeping!

Best Pregnancy Moment of the Week: Although I could have done without our trip to the hospital, it was nice to hear Nugget's heartbeat for several hours!

Movement: Nugget is very active. Dylan and Lexie were both really active in the womb, but I think Nugget has them beat! Those movements are getting really strong!

Food Cravings: I haven't had any cravings yet. I eat a lot of fruit, vegetables, and grains.

Food Aversions: There's still a lot that I really don't like.

Morning Sickness: I still take Zofran everyday in an attempt to control the morning (all day) sickness.

Gender: It's a surprise!

Symptoms: Braxton Hicks contractions that occur every time I move, all day sickness, mood swings, and a general feeling of being uncomfortable, because Nugget is up in my ribs. Frequent OB appointments at this point!

Exercise: I try to walk 4-5 days a week, but I'm not allowed to do more than that.

What I miss: Feeling comfortable and nausea-free!

What I'm looking forward to: Getting everything set up for Nugget's arrival!
