Happy Friday, my friends! The official start of Fall is just over two weeks away, but it doesn't feel much like it right now. We had temperatures over 90 degrees most days this week, and I just might be wishing away Summer for the first time ever! I am ready to decorate, embrace the upcoming holiday season, and put on some cozy clothes!
Although I can't fully get in the Fall spirit just yet, I've been sneaking in a few favorites, both old and new, over the past few days. I might still be wearing Summer clothes, but it sure is starting to look and smell like Fall in my home! It has been a few weeks since I last shared a Friday Favorites, so I figured I would share a few of my Fall Favorites today!
Disclosure: Some of the items mentioned below were gifted in exchange of my honest review. I only share the products that I truly love with my readers!
Up-Rider
I received the Rollplay 12V Up-Rider as part of a social media collaboration last month, and my kids have been having a blast with it! It's so hard to find a ride on toy that's a great fit for more than just one of my kids, but this one is it. Even my tiny Liam can operate the hand controls! The weight capacity is 130 lbs, so I just might have hopped on to give it a spin. It really is as fun as it looks! Now we just need to wait for the Fall weather to arrive, so the kids can take it for a spin without melting into a puddle from this heat! (I have no idea what Lexie is riding on in the background of the last picture, but it's a hand me down from her teenage cousins, and she LOVES it!)
Mums
To me, nothing screams Fall more than seeing mums (and pumpkins!) all over the place. Those are definitely two of my fall favorites. This is a friendly PSA...head to Aldi right now, and pick up some of these gorgeous 8 inch mums for just $2.99. Such an incredible deal!!! I love yellow mums, but the burgundy ones are beautiful, too!
Mouse Loves Pig
Now that school is back in session, we are a family on the go all the time! Mouse Loves Pig offers quality, organic, beautifully made travel toys that inspire imagination. I have a full post dedicated to this wonderful company coming up very soon, but Lily and Liam are such big fans of these adorable travel sets that I just had to give a sneak peek! (These toys are made by moms in Nicaragua, and Ruth, the founder of the company, is an inspiration! Stay tuned...)
Glade
I do try to focus on green living, but one thing I can't seem to give up is air fresheners. I just think there's something about a good scent that just makes a home feel cozier! I discovered Cozy Autumn Cuddle from Glade last year, and I absolutely love the scent. It smells JUST like Fall! (And at 99 cents, it's a complete steal!)
Perricone MD Micellar Cleansing Treatment
When I received this product free for review in a recent Influenster VoxBox, I was skeptical. BUT, with four kids, I am exhausted by the end of the day, and I often collapse in bed, completely forgetting to remove my makeup or wash my face. (I'm also not going to lie. Washing my face at night is a dreaded chore.) I tossed this into my nightstand with a few cotton balls, and gave it a shot. And guess what? I LOVE IT! It removes my makeup, and cleanses my skin in just a few swipes, leaving my skin feeling soft and clean. All I have to do is slap on some night cream, roll over, and go to bed. It's seriously an exhausted mom's best friend!
Current Reads
I've mentioned several times that I am loving the books by Lisa Scottoline. I read one for the first time in late Spring, and loved it so much that I ran to the library and checked out a few. She has so many, and I've enjoyed every book I've read. Yes, just like any other author, some books are better than others, but they are all good stories filled with twists! Plus, she uses some of the same characters in several of her books, which I really like. I read 10+ books of hers over the Summer, and still have quite a few to go!
Sambucol Black Elderberry Gummies
If you have kids in school, or a child who has a weakened immune system, I highly recommend giving these a try for immune support! I started giving black elderberry gummies daily to Liam after he spent Christmas night in the ER. I'm not sure if it's a coincidence, but he stayed healthy for months, and within weeks of stopping them over the Summer, he ended up getting REALLY sick! After that round of illnesses, we started back up with the black elderberry supplement, and we're sticking with them!
Brotherly Love
On that note, who else is ready for a fun-filled weekend with family? Happy Fri-Yay!
What's on your agenda this weekend? What are a few of your current favorites? Let me know in the comments!

ReplyDeleteIf one more person rubs Fall in my face, I may just cry!! It's still way too hot here. But those mums?? I may grab myself some soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for telling me about the mums!! I'm going to try to go get some at our Aldi this afternoon! Hopefully I can keep them alive until Halloween this time. Haha.
ReplyDeleteWow, that Up-Rider looks so fun! We might have to buy one for me, I mean, Lewie! I love mums, pumpkins, and all fall scents. We had some serious heat here, too, but we woke up today to some cooler temperatures. I think I'm ready for the next season. Oh, and I love to hear that Dylan and Liam have become so close. Your family is so inspirational.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty ready for the fall too, though I could do with a little less rain. lol Aw, that's too cute that Liam loves Dylan so much.
